"Don't they come from a different Dimension though?" Alice asks, then says something else. "We're nearly out of the Cave."

"Yeah. Where are we going?" Shadow asked.

"Well, I don't know about you, but I got teleported here through a Vex hate on Mars." She looks over her shoulder at him. "Quite the journey, huh?" Turns to face forward again. "Anyway, I ended up nearby the Ishtar Cliffs. Trying to figure out where I am." "Then I recieved a broadcast, very disrupted, coming from the outside of some Vault. I thought 'Hey, while I'm here, I might as well help out.' " She smiles under her helmet. "I could've just said 'A Vault' and that would have been better than a long talk."

"Vault, i see. Mind if we go to shortcut?" Shadow asked. "Ah, don't say it." Shadow grabbed her hand, and disappeared with her. Few seconds later, him and her appeared at the entrance of the Vault.

"John, two more are approaching, and both look to be Warlocks, if I'm not mistaken." "Finally. All right, when they get here, I'll begin. If anyone else wants to join, they'll have to come through the trails we've blazed."

Alice stumbles backwards, putting up her hands to block the sunlight that temporarily blinds her. "Wha-" She starts, then her eyes adjust. She lowers her hands and looks at Shadow. "Thank you for saving me the walk and all, but you have to know," she points to the exit of a cave, less than two hundred metres away. "we we're literally right there."

"Ah, i already knew that. I just love to teleport." Shadow said with joking tone. "Let's go inside."

"Well, apparently the broadcast came from outside the Vault, and the Vault itself is closed, so I'm thinking, put out a beacon to find him." Alice smiles. "Either that, or smash some Vex."
