Snipers are going to be op in ToO
Hear me out on this. So I was playing some elimination matches I walked out and instantly got destroyed by the other team all using snipers. Wasn't even a headshot. If you have your whole team using snipers you basically unstoppable if you focus fire , and the nerf of shotguns have made the snipers counterpart less appealing. So in trials all that will be used in trials will be snipers, primarys will be used less then specials.

The other team basically played on your lack of patience. nothing frustrates an average sniper like a patient opponent since he cant hold down aim forever. and if you let them be and wait for the timer they have to come out to capture the zone...... usually the flag is placed in locations that you have to come out in the open to capture and if you are sniping you either spread out and get thined or u bunch up and eat double nades for your effort. adapt

Yeah i had people do this with 3 hawkmoons , 3 red deaths, basically any weapon! And shoot them more then once . They would die , ALWAYS !!! OP as -blam!-. [spoiler]Any gun in the game is OP as -blam!- when combined forces act as a well oiled machine , aint that strange???[/spoiler]

You have to learn the sight lines on the map and stay out of any that are too long for your radar to detect.

Sorry but you're complaining about tactics. Spawn killing is one thing but being tagged by more than one sniper isn't a viable complaint. There's always a countermove for these things, you just have to learn how.

1 ReplyAs I said on these forms before regarding shotgun I'll say it here but different because it a sniper. Stay out of site and flank them because the closer you are to a sniper the harder it is for them to kill you with said sniper.

Snipers in trials will almost always be a better option than a shotgun. The point is to win the match as fast as possible and the sniper hits as hard as a shotgun with way more range but only if you get a headshot or LitC shot as a close shotgun shot is almost always a 1 hit kill. Why would you want to get up close and personal in a game where nearly everyone only knows how to use a shotgun? The more skilled snipers will shred through teams as easily as they did last year, nothing will change in trials this time around. Campers will lose due to a smart team and the end game timer if they hide the whole game. It will depend on: Map chosen and its layout. How often people rush to a specific lane and what gunplay that lane caters to best. Trials is a game of teamwork, communication and map knowledge above all else. the weapons you choose to use dont necessarily make you better than the other team.

I was that douche in ToO that always used a three shot sniper with final round. Just be glad that that isn't gonna happen to you.
