Literally no reason to do nightfall
No xp bonus, significantly harder than before, extremely low exotic chance, 99.99% of drops suck if they aren't exotic

This weeks nightfall interesting.. Good luck getting the relic down the hall flawlessly, also watch out for all those hazards in the boss room And you'll most likely get a sub 280 legendary

I got a 310 supercell 2 weeks ago from nf.

Got a suros last week. I also got 310 ruin wings and 310 immolation fists this week. Now if only I could get something other than shards to drop in the raid, I'd be set.

2 RepliesYo so I am done running night falls for awhile I have done it on all 3 of my toons for the last three weeks best drops I have had consists of 5 three of coins and legendary bonds and cloaks that are less than my base...... Jesus I miss the year one RnG system

13 RepliesMy 300 Titan artifact disagrees with you. My base 295 drop Tread Upon Stars with firefly and 3rd eye primary scout disagrees with you. My second Tread Upon Stars 282 with firefly disagrees with you. Oh, and did I mention I got my first exotic,Hawkmoon, from year 2 week 1 nightfall disagrees with you? Yeah. But don't worry. If you keep passing up the nightfalls you will be sure to collect all the exotics and guns... whenever that actually is...

I got two rare and one legendary engram, all decided to motes of light, I won't be doing it again. I'll just run three of coins in the strike playlists

The only reason to do a nightfall is to complete the "Do the nightfall" questline; otherwise, I find my odds of getting good drops is [i]way, way[/i] better using a Three of Coins and then going Taken Champion hunting.

They're just as easy as before, just even worse rewards. They seemed to have increase legendary drops along with adding in antiquated runes. You also can't forget the strange coins, but that's not all that bad anymore.

Agreed. It annoyed me last week and the drops were horrible. The ruined it.

I soloed one up until the boss. Not to hard but I couldn't complete it because of the solar burn with the new black garden strike. Light level 10 below recommended. Get gud.

Agreed. No real point in doing a nightfall. Low light level drops and no exotic rewards I have seen to date. No rep/ faction XP or boast of any kinds. Hopefully they fix it soon.

The nightfall is really unrewarding. I do miss the nightfall bonuses that you received.

I got a freaking tier 3 rune for the Court of Oryx as reward, the week before it was 13 strange coins. I'm not even bothering to do the NF on my alts as it's simply not worth the time. Before TTK at least we got the 25% XP buff and some shiny blue light on the head, now we get nothing. I haven't seen a single exotic drop - I rather grind level 36 strikes with Three of Coins activated.

8 RepliesI get an exotic every nightfall. Play nightfall = chance to get an exotic. Don't play nightfall = no chance of exotic. Make your choice. Plus the nightfalls are more fun and intense now. Even without the rewards I'd play it just for the fun factor and to enjoy the modifiers.
