a sword reforged
So I have done this quest four times and all four times I haven't gotten the bolt-caster I've killed thracu and then killed alak-hul and the finish quest has not popped for me. What am I missing? I want this sword

I think it's an issue with the damage you do to the boss, I did it the other day and got my warden, but when the boss died I didn't even get an engram to drop.

Did you kill the the correct warden and Alak-Hul within 30 sec of each other while saving Alak-Hul for last

4 RepliesSame thing's happening to me. I kill my knight, and then we kill Darkblade.within 10 second, but the quest just wont complete.

11 RepliesHave to kill the add relevant to your sword, Arc/Void/Solar based shielded one, and Alak-hul within 30 seconds of each other. Then after you complete that and turn in, have to wait until Armsday.

I had the same problem. One dude says u need to use a sword but my buddy did it (I was with him) and didn't use the sword and got it. Idfk

Dang, that's frustrating! It can only be an error in timing (30 seconds between killing the warden and Big-Al). Unless you aren't playing the quest version of that strike(?).

2 RepliesJust did this morning. You don't have to use sword to kill them. Just get them down to really low lvl of health and I really mean a slither of health. Then take them down within 30 seconds. However when I did with my team I was going for the arc exotic sword and my other mate was going for solar. We took the void knight down straight away cause we didn't need him. Got the 2 knights with solar and arc and main boss down to low lvl health. Then shat all over them.

Lower them both to low health make sure you kill them within 30 seconds of killing 1

11 RepliesIm Actually not up to that quest step yet, im up to farming the rare materials and frankly I've run more miles in destiny looking for materiels than I'll ever even travel irl lol I was so over the material farming during year one, then we were able to buy them from the Tower and I was all like Yaaaaaaaaay! And now the spin metal run has returned to haunt me in the worst way lol

3 RepliesEdited by VayloBludd: 10/1/2015 6:23:00 AMYour in the same boat as me mate, fine on my first 2 swords yet this won't complete, 3 times on the trot i've done it, even had 1 guy finish the quest on his void sword when that was the first knight we killed at the end, arc one last still didn't complete, think we have bugged quests. :(

First kill the ( in your case) knight with the arc shield. And within 30sec the dark blade.
