Wouldn't it be awesome to actually go into the city and not the tower? It would be great! More opportunities for quests, a black market or something.......and if the speaker says that "the children are frightened anyway" wouldn't a guardian walking the streets of the city boost morale in the city and boost rep with your faction? I'm looking at you bungie!

Id love to go down there. Everytime I try it says "Misadventure" and my Ghost appears. Guess we are not high enough light level to enter the city right now.
-
If the Guardians didn't destroy the place they'd be stealing everything that's not nailed down. We're honestly closer to undead mercenaries than heroic warriors of Light. The heroism stuff happens by accident.
-
I would like that. But I mean my guardian is to cruel to be with citizens. I love to kill the enemy's.

4 RepliesA warlock and a titan disagrees in public area. Marketplace obliterated. Two dozens of civilians disintegrated in void light. Burning hammer found on playground. This got to stop says Mayor. The Speaker leaves no comment to press.

3 RepliesIt would be cool if they had the City itself as a new Social Space... or even a new Patrol area, complete with new enemies. For enemies, I think that combat version of the Frames we see in the Tower would be ideal. I envision something like the Mechs we fight in Mass Effect 2, like the LOKI security mech and YMIR heavy mech.

I always thought of it like ancient Rome: for most of ancient Romes history, armed soldiers were banned from entering the City.
-
Because "speaks in a deep hillbilly accent" they don't like our kind around there
-
1 ReplyTo those worried about people thinking guardians are zombies: Civilians are probably kept in the dark about what guardians actually are.
-
2 RepliesWould you let a weapon walk with civilians?
-
I am fairly sure the citerzens are afraid of us. They probably think we are Zombies that protect them.
-
1 ReplyYou can but it would cost you $60 dollars
-
28 RepliesBecause that would mean a fun, open world game, and Activision can't have that.

last gen.

13 RepliesThis would be awesome! Perhaps in the next game.. Imagine being able to purchase a home in the city and you could go to that, and maybe a vender in the tower selling furniture and things you could personalise your home with. Would be soo cool.
-
This happens in year 10, that's how the last story goes
-
2 RepliesFrom day 1 I've always wanted a public event, if you even call it that were Hive etc attack the tower, and invade the city. I'm not talking about a squad, I'm talking an army... Imagine logging on everyday, and going down a lift of some sort and like a public event, you see Guardians holding the line? That would've been so cool. Oh, and space warfare...we got a cut scene, so why not?
-
We can't enter the city because we're too salty and aren't allowed to.
-
Destiny 2 or 3.
-
You want armed personnel with powers walking among civs when they all prolly have psych problems from the whole dead again and again thing?
-
This needs to happen Bungie!
-
Edited by Vehks: 10/2/2015 8:02:30 AMI don't think the citizens would take kindly to the undead shambling around their streets. They keep us confined to the tower for a reason and I think that as soon as a guardian smells living flesh we lose all control and we begin to feed.

Your guardian finds all sorts of ships, of various sizes. I'm sure some of those gigantic ones have living spaces within them, to which at that point I ask. After witnessing the horrors of battle, catering to wounds sustained physically and emotionally, would you want to be bothered by various people? Or fly somewhere remote, hide, have a nice view, and recover by yourself? Of course it's different for each case, but I'm sure sone of those gigantoid ships have more than a tiny ass cockpit. :p

Future quest is to find Daigon Alley. CONFIRMED!!

Because after its long journey the Traveller took a dump and it covered the entire city.
