To all the people who were so eager to leave the y1 weapons behind, are u satisfied with the new gear?
This is a serious question. Not really complaining, just wondering if year 2 delivered as much as everyone boasted that it would
I think they should have kept rerolling for pve's sake, although i can see how it turned pvp into the house of pain
They should also bring the Vex Mytho, Necrochasm, QBB, Lord of Wolves and Fred's Promise back. Those were 'earned', more or less so its kinda fair

Just a little food for thought: anyone notice that lfg and others are alot more elitist and exclusionary since light level came into play? It might be my opinion, but it's never been this bad. Hopefully itll blow over

I love the new exotic weapons. The armor is a different story; most of the new exotic armors are boring. Most of the legendary guns are crap (looking at you heavies)(except for swords). MOST. Not all by a long shot but most. Also the raid stuff is trash, from what I've seen. I've infused most of it into other stuff almost immediately save for a few weapons that aren't actually half bad. My biggest complain though would have to be the relatively large abundance of situationally useful perks on guns (IE: Icarus and any and all low health related ones). So in summation, exotics aren't bad, legendaries are meh save for a few that I've used, and raid gear is a disappointment.

Edited by BornANew2020: 10/3/2015 8:18:02 PMAll my characters use the raid weapons exclusively. Edit: at least year one I used all the raid weapons some poe weapons some situational guns and exotics. Now I only use kings fall raid weapons and the swords.

I Have actually to many gun i want to use and i wish i could use more of them its nice not any one of my charaters has the same guns its way better.

7 RepliesYes I am. The new weapons are much more balanced than the old ones. Every time I see someone I PvP still rocking Felwinter's or Messenger I just kinda laugh knowing that their Trials and IB performance is probably gonna reflect the fact that they just can't let go.

This game has created an elitist mentality and you're right, since TTK dropped it has gotten much worse. And to tie this in to your original point, I remember Bungie saying why they nerfed Gally was because of LFG requirements. That's laughable now.

Eh, I find myself only using 2 different special weapons.. 1000 yard and dark blades fusion.... so haven't felt too much variety.. hoping this omolon on wed will be good

5 RepliesOh look another crybaby post because he can't use his crutch weapons. AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW Rerolling was idiotic and completely made PvP broken. It should have never been done to begin with and should never come back. Ascension was a lazy way out of creating new stronger weapons with HoW. And tell me more how you earned a random drop just because you did an activity.

Yea I love the new meta and leveling system I feel it's the most balanced yet.
