Is three of a coin useless now?
Title says it all
What do you think?
Edit: i think its not completly bs because it still drops sometimes. But its really not that good as it was.
Btw guys if you're struggling with the same drops everytime try using your alts. It seems that you always get copys on the same class. I got invective so many times.

Yes they are I get 2 or three exotics from the ultra knight One per ToC swapping characters when I first log on

I buy them and use 1 every other heroic strike to farm for 310 exotics to infuse into other gear, other than that would rather buy heavy ammo.

I had an epiphany at the weekend thanks to our old friend Mr Xur. I went into the weekend with about 30 coins yet I wanted to buy all three pieces of armor, the Zhalo and some heavy and ToC's as usual. So I needed over 70 coins. As a result I did something I have not done since TTK and I went back to PoE28. Having heard others say that it was a good place to play ToCs I remembered to play one each time before engaging battle. By the end of the weekend I had easily earned the extra 40 coins I needed and in the process I was getting a yellow engram drop on about every 3rd or 4th PoE28 completion. What's more (and I guess this was just luck) for the guns I actually got different ones each time that I didn't already have in Y2 versions. So from now on if I want to play ToC's I think I'm going to concentrate on PoE28 alone as it's been far more successful than anywhere else I have played them previously (apart from the 1st week of course!).

For people with extra 310's and all their characters have 310 plus armor for those slots, yes.

I seem to get an exotic on average every six coins.

Yeah they are I bought 15 from xur and I used them all but no exotic droped like wtf

To me they are trash. I have used like 35 of them and have gotten 1 exotic which was the stupid crest for my titan which was my third one. I have used them on strikes and the night falls and everywhere in between. I really believe this game hates my guts. The feeling is mutual. Don't know if I'm doing something wrong but they are a total waste in my opinion. For me its like trying to get the Mau'aul's Maulers. I have ran that strike more times than should be legal and still no joy. I think my son has used 50 3oc and has gotten like 6 exotics with 5 being the haw

Seems to work the same as it has since it was introduced for me, of course I only use it for raids, strikes and dailies, I never tried farming engrams. It would appear they only nerfed the likelihood of a drop if ultras are killed in rapid succession.

Drop rates are really high if you space out ultra kills. 20% I think is pretty accurate, if not higher

Go to the Sunless cell for the exotic sword, obtain a exotic primary weapon (finally a weapon and not a exotic gauntlet/armor engram)

2 RepliesI usually have a good drop rate but since the weekend it took over 20 strikes and raid bosses to even have 1 drop. RNG is not my friend

1 Reply1 in 10 and its mostly armour - so yea, pretty dead. But maybe it was planned that way as Xur is bringing glass needles so you can spend your coins getting good rolls on your exotics.
