Chests don't drop the material it has to be from a material node

Since when though... Just got spin metal on a random chest on my way through the rocket yard last night. Back in the beginning days, chest were the way to farm mats, loop them into your rotation and you double your yield.

Chests still drop materoal but they dont drop the rare one for the exotic sword quest

I just started my quest, can't wait to start that grind.

you should complete the grind today the next step is to wait for armsday so if you dont make it to that step today you will have to wait until next wed to get your exotic sword
