How long will patch 2.0 download take you?

I am not happy i just bought it sunday with my dad and all the sudden it says you need to update it and i say ''ok'' so then after that it keeps saying a error has occurred so then i leave it updating all night and it says the same thing then i update in the moring before school and it said the SAME THING.I NEED HELP!!!!!!!

Idk, I got home from school at like 5:30 (marching band after class), started it then, and it was downloaded in the morning. It was halfway done when I went to bed at 10, so I'm gonna assume 8 hours

30 RepliesTook less than an hour on PS4. A trick that works, is to pause the download when it slows and then resume. Speed will greatly increase. Works every time.

15 RepliesWhy the -blam!- is the update 18gb? My Xbox has a few GB spare after installing destiny... How do I play it? Your saying a weapon patch, a few maps and gamemodes costs 18gb.. Then how much is the raid and all these hundreds of new weapons gonna take up? I can't even play destiny now wat do I have to buy a new hard drive... -blam!-in games a joke

Started at 730 pm eastern time on the 8th as of 530 am on the 10th I am at 85%. Friend of mine a half hour away on a similar connection only took 2 hours to download. Thanks for nothing Bungie.

3 RepliesWhen I started it said 3 hours. I put it in rest mode came back an hour to check and it said 4 hours left. 20 minutes later it said 5 hours left. I started playing Mad Max. A while later it said 8 hours left. When I left for work today it said 11 hours left. At this rate, in 2 days I will have 37 years left.

So I was close to right to what I had guessed. The update took 26 1/2 hours to download. And that was with my Xbone wired and the only internet user. What a journey that was.
