Crota Raid is broken
I shouldn't be able to die, when jumping down the drain to get to the abyss when doing the crota raid. Two of my raid buddies and myself are attempting Crota Flawless today, and 3 times in a row, I have died by jumping down the drain and getting bounced off the map, why is this mechanic even possible!? It's laughable that you can die before even seeing an enemy, then you have to go back to orbit to start over, just to have it happen again... Fix it... jeeze.
Just an update, finally got past the drain (after dying in mid air several times, as well as from hitting the ground) Went flawless with my friend Sassquatch0308. Then went flawless again with Sass and Mightysharp.
Never going down that damn hole again!

At least that one is at the start....Ive fallen at the end after Thrallway Chest and into the little pool and died from hitting the edge wrong more times then I ever want to count

21 RepliesThat's user error. It rarely happens normally. Maybe it happened twice for me throughout several hundred raid completions. Just go in the hole one at a time and you will be fine.

Many times when you're launched out into the darkness it's because someone landed on somebody's head. Edit: Nvm, read your update. Congrats!

Edited by LDSG BossMan: 8/31/2015 3:12:29 PMI never die jumping down anymore as ive flawlesses crota 4 times to help friends, heres what you do: Go down one at a time, wait about 4 seconds per each person, once you are falling, wait till the game kinda glitches your character so you look in a certain direction, anticipate right before that moment and jump, youll know you did it correctly if you start gaining weight of darkness as you are still falling. Youll hit the ground with barely any health but youll still be alive. Run around in circles so u dont get hit by other players Edit: if you are on 360 or XB one i can help you guys out, as ive said ive done flawless raider 4 times already on CE and have the perfect strategy for each section.
