Year one guns
Why would Bungie take away year one legendarys and exotics? We paid for these guns, we've put ridiculous amounts of yime acquiring and upgrading all these guns ? Sure were gonna have new ones but egg m we'll also have more space to keep guns we already love and new guns to come. Taking away old guns takes away from the whole game everything we've been playing for? Exotics are basically part of the story of Destiny but your getting rid of some? Do they want this game to fail?

1 ReplyUgh they aren't taking anything exotic away. Just not moving forward with gally. It will stay year 1. The rest are going to gain a new lvl. Did you watch the clips? Any of the live feeds? Read anything? They are trying to give you better options. "One gun shouldn't be the answer for every situation. We want you to see what we have in store for you. It's going to be amazing." "We aren't making gjallahorn simulator 4.0" the new lvl will be up to 40 for all exotics. But gally will stay at year 1 levels. They put 2x as many exotics guns as the first as well as 2× as much as the rest of the weapons in all 3 parts combined.

They need to because of weapon balance and the fact they broke it a whole bunch. So now the only option is to x them out of the game. I just hope they don't do the same thing again.

5 Repliesthey're just rolling with standard MMO logic. I don't agree that this is the best thing to strive for because in standard MMO's weapons are just stat sticks with a point and click that are predetermined by numbers whether they will hit and do damage or not and not. But Destiny's weapons are different, they are alive. Each exotic acts and handles differently from each different exotic and even further, each legendary will act different from another legendary of the exact same class or damage model. they aren't just stat sticks and they creat a much more personal attachment to those who acquired them. I understand why bungie is doing it, but i personally disagree with their logic.

Look up the edge magazine article for destiny. They confirmed all the exotics will eventually be put up to year 2 levels they just aren't putting them all out at once.

12 RepliesAll the exotics are coming with us in ttk but some will come over time but legendarys wont. to be honest I dont care about my legendarys just my exotics especially my no land beyond it will be a good change using something different for once.
