Would you game with me? I'm 15 years old. My voice doesn't Crack much at all. I am a serious and competetive player. I'm juts looking to see what age this community tolerates.
Edit: sorry guys I forgot the "any age" poll. But feel free to state that in the comments below :)
Edit: so it seems most people don't care about age it's all about maturity and if your a decent player. That's good to hear. This community isn't as toxic as I thought :) 🍻 cheers

1 ReplyAs long as you're out of the womb and have a heartbeat

That moment when a 6 year old runs straight up to atheon and wonders why he died. Then asks how you kill atheon. On the fifth run because he keeps ruining everything.

Its not so much the voice as it is the squeekers that dont stop talking. I can deal with a squeek here and there but when its constantly ringing in my ear i just cant take it. My ears begin to bleed. So them i mute them and if they fail while muted, thats the last straw theyre out.

22 RepliesI used the destiny lfg website tool for a Crota HM run. I wasn't really picky on people, got 5 pretty quickly. One of them happens to be a kid with a high pitched voice. He ended up being kinda needy, not very team oriented, and complained a lot. When others in the group asked him how old he was, he said he was 8, but I'd think that was a lie, but everyone was being entertained by him all the same (his antics) He had 'tatertots' in his name and was getting really pissed off when people were calling him 'tatty' or other nicknames. I didn't really consider booting him, cause it's crota, not that hard with 5 people. Needless to say we get through it, then he says he's made 'good' reports to everyone in the group, before he has to leave early or something. Anyway as soon as he leaves, we down Crota no problem. A few days later he invites me to a group and messages me. I'm doing my own thing and tell him I've already done all the nightfalls for the week (as his message asked for help on that). Normally I don't mind helping but I'm focused on a task. Anyway, he then sends an audio message back, pretty much telling me I should help him. Then he starts spamming invites, so I block him... Never again...

3 RepliesFirst time I beat Skolas I had a 13 year old on the team and he was cool as hell and knew his stuff. We beat it after three attempts and been grouping up since once and a while to do raids And stuff. On the other hand I play with people close to my age (28) who are complete jackasses and act like they're 10. So my answer would be it depends on the person. If someone is mentally mature I would rather play with that person.

I really dont care how old they are as long as they shut up. Young people for some reason seem to like to fill silence with any form of chatter or self talk. Im all good for a "how are you?" "What you been up to?", but a running commentary about what gun you just got shot by because you need to pick up more ammo or you would have got them 1st blah blah blah blah, at some point it has to end but most of the time it doesnt.

5 RepliesEdited by TheMutantMeme: 8/29/2015 12:24:56 AMI don't play with kids who are like 13-14 and think they're hot stuff. They're like,"yeah I'm a teenager, I'm kind of a big deal". They don't realize that while yes, technically both 13 and 18 year olds are teenagers, maturity wise they are lightyears apart. So if you're like 12 or 13 and think you're all $wag money because you're an elite teen, then just GTFO and grow up. Mature people don't proclaim how mature they are, and how they're better/more grown up than everyone else present Edit: one big precursor is when I ask people who want to raid how old they are, and they are like "well I'm 12 but I'm not annoying and I'm SUPER MATURE!" Bragging about maturity does not make you mature, in fact it's quite the opposite. Also, just because you THINK you have a deep voice and you THINK you're not annoying, doesn't make it fact. No one looks at themselves and thinks, "hey I'm a really annoying squeaker." I also thought I was mature when I was 12. But as you get older, you can look back and realize how immature you actually were, and really appreciate those who put up with you. So kids, next time you raid with older teens or adults, don't try to act super grown up, because that's all it is- an act. Keep you mic muted, so background noises/unnessary reactions are silenced, and don't talk unless it's crucial to the activity. People will care about where the next oracle is if you say it in a calm voice, but no one cares for you screaming about how you just pwned that level 5 dreg who was rustling your jimmies. If teammates don't respond, they can still hear you, so don't get louder and louder while endlessly repeating the same statement if no one responds to the fact that you just equipped a rocket launcher instead of a machine gun. I know it was a long read, but thanks for listening to me sort of give my opinion, and hopefully I made some form of sense. Also, to those who fit the age group I described, go ahead and take some tips, I garuntee that you will be attacked less the next time you turn on your mic

2 RepliesI'm twelve and I have a deeper voice. Sometimes my voice cracks, but so what? We all went through it at some point and time. And, I'll assure you, I am mature.
-
1 ReplyNo need for an any age option. Just pick the first one.
-
I don't personally care, as long as you are a decent person. However I'll say that younger people generally are terrible people. Not saying you are, just a lot are.
-
1 Reply50+ I like talking to people my age
-
I really don't like playing with anybody under 17. I have some kids from my town around 14-15 that play and I don't mind helping them out. But other than that it seems like everybody under the age of 17 is a little a hole.
-
I personally don't care since I try to be polite as possible, but I cannot stand it when they start to purposefully hold back the team and act dumb.
-
1 ReplyUmm I don't really care about the age of players but I do care about the attitude of the players
