Blegh, BO3 is just another gross copy paste with a few reskins and weapons added in. Same as every other CoD.

Same as TTK then. Reskinned weapons, reskinned enemies.... You get the picture.
-
The weapon models are brand new, enemies have new abilities and animations, more story, new raid, etc.
-
The weapons, character models, maps are different in black ops 3 too.
-
But is the gameplay or story different at all?
-
-
How so? It's just "run around the map with the most OP weapon you can find, preferably with a time to kill of less than a second, and shoot people, extra points if you spin around in a circle first". The story is in no way shape or form different.

Edited by nosworc82: 8/22/2015 1:25:29 PMEvery fps is just run around the map with whatever the flavour of the month weapon is. Cod changes the single player story with every installment, the gameplay changes too in multiplayer hence why people like certain games more than others. I hated Advanced Warfare for example but I'm loving black ops 3 so far. There's only so much you can do to change up a fps.

Except that TTK is better then COD3 black ops and Its just a dlc
-
Played it have you?
-
I know it by Reputation
-
TTK I'm on about....

Edited by Galagarrived: 8/22/2015 1:44:30 AMYou know, aside from the fact that it hasn't been going on for the past 8 fucking years

They aren't charging you 20/40 quid every few months in Cod for that pleasure though are they? You don't need to purchase a single dlc for Cod to enjoy it for the year, same can't be said for Destiny.
-
That's so stupid, it's funny
-
You're right it is, glad you can agree.....
-
Agree with what?
-
That it's stupid what Destiny is doing ;)
-
Nah not really, both destiny and BO3 are stupid games. I would rather play destiny than play the same copy and pasted shit over and over again.
-
Read what you just wrote, Destiny is the same copy and paste shit again. Takes me back to my original point. At least with Cod, you pay your 60 quid and you're done for the year. The last two dlc's for Destiny had you run through the same areas over and over from the original game and they charge you for the pleasure. The difference is you have to buy them or your locked out what little content there is every 3 or 4 months.
-
That's what makes destiny fun. I can have different guns, I can expect change in destiny( even though some changes are bad). While CoD doesn't really care to show much change in it.
-
Hey, mate if you're having fun that's all that matters at the end of the day. Myself personally don't like having to pony up cash every few months for no content. If the content was there I wouldn't have any issue.
-
Buddy, I would happily pay money NOT to play CoD if I couldn't already do it for free.
-
Good for you, Cod isn't for everyone. Still doesn't take away my valid point about Destiny doing the same thing only every few months....
-
Not sure if you've noticed, but most developers are doing the same thing over and over. That's the current climate in the industry. AAA devs will not take risks with new ideas, or are not allowed to by their publishers. (CoD is partly at fault for this for showing how successfull minimal innovation can be)
-
No I haven't noticed, I buy a lot of games and not once have I seen a game release dlc every few months that locks you out of original game content if you don't buy it. I hate dlc with any game, not just Destiny but you don't have to buy it with other games. The biggest problem is Destiny offers no content for your money, reused areas we have been through since beta.
