MIDA WILL BECOME THE NEW THORN WHEN TTK DROPS?
Well at least i think it will, at the moment it is a decent weapon and you can have fun with it. With all scout riffles having a 5% damage boost makes mida op in my mind, however this might not happen. Maybe just maybe one gun we havent heard about will rule the crucible. If not here are some honorable mentions vision of confluence and the iron banner scout riffle ( sorry i had a brain fart :3). Tell me what weapons you think will rise above others in the crucible

Mida will still kill in four headshots thorn will kill in three body shots. Thorn will still be better.

It depends on the map. If there are a lot of snipers, you can easily combat them with MIDA and dance machines as a hunter. Bob and weave and they will have a pretty difficult time. Close maps they're not nearly as good, but still effective. The agility boost is clutch.

The five percent damage boost is for PVE not PVP.

The scout rifle damage boost is PVE only... Scout rifles are already great in pvp.

8 RepliesGheleons demise... And I think if you're gonna go scout, you may wanna think the higher impact ones. The scholar is a 3 shot kill now. Mida does 50 to the head? 5% is only 2.5, so it does 53 now? Still a 4 shot kill to the head. Nothing changes.

As far as we know MIDA isnt gettimg updated to year 2 (yet?), so it will only be good inside regular crucible. Also if 347 Vesta is as good as it seems ill just use it instead of MIDA.

They are adding a couple new exotic scout rifles too, so yeah I think you're right. Scout rifles are going to be beast

It takes too much skill to become a thorn, and with the close quarter maps destiny has, mida won't be well suited for many situations. In the hands of a skilled player though it will be very good

I don't think so. Even with the base damage buff, it won't have a three shot crit potential like the Fate of All Fools.
