New Raid Shotgun and Rocket Launcher (possibly Ahamkara?)

Please understand in my excitement i didnt consider that it was Oryx Magenta. It MIGHT be a raid weapon...
further noticing the Titan's Launcher reveals the same scheme. It appears either two Ahamkara, or two raid weapons. Raid weapons seem more likely.

7 RepliesI hope those aren't the raid weapons. The weapons from TDB were hideous and those don't look any better. I would have hoped that they'd listen to how much most players hated the look of TDB raid weapons and armor...

10 RepliesIt's worth pointing out that all raid weapons have been following a pattern of elemental damage, and this fits the pattern. VoG / CE / KF (King's Fall) Scout: Solar / Arc / ?? (void) AR : Void / Solar / ?? (arc) Pulse: Arc / Arc / ?? (arc) HC: Arc / Void / ?? (solar) Sniper: Void / Solar / ?? (arc) Fusion: Solar / Arc / ?? (void) Rocket: Solar / Solar / ?? (solar) HMG: Void / Arc / ?? (solar) The shotgun is: Arc / Void / ?? (solar) The shotgun in the video is indeed solar.

1 ReplyFor all we know we may fight a akamhara. This is just a though, but that giant skeleton in the mission where we destroy Crotas soul is possibly an akamhara skeleton. For all we know Oryx took an akamhara or something.

4 RepliesThey're probably just a new weapon set. I doubt they would tease raid weapons with so much of the raid still under wraps. Maybe Eris will have weapons? Or they could just be rewards for story etc.

7 RepliesI gotta disagree about them being raid weapons. Why would Bungie put the raid weapons in a beta-build pvp preview? That just doesn't make any sense. The whole point of the raid weapons is that they are a mystery until we start collecting them. We had no idea about the VoG weapons until we started doing the raid. No one even knew the Vex Mythoclast was a thing until it started dropping in hard mode. The only reason we knew about the CE weapons ahead of time was because of datamining. I think your first thought about Ahamkara exotics is more likely.
