Neon genesis evangelion ya or na?

Late to the party but I've seen the main series and movie, watched them way back. Seems a little dated now but still worth watching, mainly to see how much it's influenced certain genres going forward.

Amazing. If you are watching this I recommend episode 1-24 then watch the movie, "The End of Evangelion."

I got bored pretty quick. Forced myself to watch upto about episode 18 then gave up on it. The most annoying thing was the sound of some insect like a cricket or something over many of the talking scenes.
