Probably because ping varies during the game. You are oddly not the only person on the internet and your connection strength is not based on your connection just to your isp. You would find yourself being kicked in every game you entered period. I would say think before you type but, so few people ever consider that their connection is going through their isp, routing servers and dns servers etc. etc so never consider that the people with red connections may in fact not be the issue at all.
