Bungie - Admit Thorn and TLW are Killing Crucible
You're ruining your own game and driving players away because these two guns are the only ones people use in your multiplayer experience. With over 25 primaries to choose, people choose TWO. Do you realize how broken that is?
I'd respect you a lot more if you admitted that multiplayer is unbalanced and broken and just made some hard fixes. Grow up, take responsibility, and make changes.
Until then, you've lost a loyal customer who's played for hundreds of hours, spent time in the community, and paid you over $100 playing your game. You've lost me, because you refuse to address the biggest issue in the entire game. Get it together Bungie. Please. I want to love you, but you make it very, very hard.

Destiny is NOT a competitive fps! How do people not get this? And there's a lot worse things in crucible than TLW and thorn. The foundation for destiny pvp is just not built for competitive play, it's more have fun casual slayer. Also what got me hooked was the pve, raids and such, so much fun!! Crucible will keep me around until halo 5 and taken king are out.

35 RepliesYou need to shut your mouth crybaby. TLW actually takes skill to use. Have you tried it? Or are you just mad you don't have either. I agree with you on thorn, no gun should poison and allow you to walk away from shooting them, but TLW takes skill. To get the 2 shot kill you have to hip fire two headshots. That is hard sometimes. If everyone keeps crying, destiny will get changed too much to be playable.

Listen brah', you're just not very good at PvP. Don't blame it on weapons. Good players have no problem countering those weapons or simply using the same ones more effectively than their opponents. Judging by your stats, you don't look like you can do either.

7 RepliesTLW is fine. It's difficult to hit people at longer ranges with it. It excels at mid and close range engagements, if it's "sniping" you, you're doing something wrong. It has a low mag size, which doesn't allow for the average player to get two kills in one clip and makes the user reload very often. TLW is only extremely effective in today's meta because of the death of auto rifles and Vex Mythoclast. Please notice that the call of the nerf of this weapon only aroused when auto rifles were nerf'd, along with the de-buff of Vex Mythoclast. Back in the day of the old meta, TLW was consistently outgunned by auto rifles and its core rival was Vex Mythoclast since it did something similar as TLW just at far longer ranges and sometimes, far quicker. Buff auto rifles and remove Vex Mythoclast's latest nerf and TLW will go away. Also, fix the ADS glitch. Thorn on the other hand, was a a skilled players weapon. Now, it has been buffed into unbalancing. (The ideal "Started from the bottom now we here" scenario) All jokes aside, Thorn is unbalanced in that it has no weaknesses. Consider: •It has a fast RoF •Can reach to scout rifle range •Average to good stability •Fair mag size •Good reload speed •The burn allows you to track targets •The burn not only stops your health regeneration, but does a considerate amount of damage, going beyond what it probably should do •The burn still activates when the user is dead •It's a two headshot kill •It has a final round glitch •There are no downsides to using it In my opinion, these are good enough reasons to nerf it Thorn some way.

More frequent rebalance are preferred to more 'correct' ones. I'd rather have them rebalance weapons which may make some overpowered and have the fun of figuring that out, rather than endure months for a change to the mega while everyone chants the 'best gun is not OP'

2 RepliesSo I really hope they fix this because no other primaries are useable in crucible. TLW is insanely powerful and really the only reasonable counter to all the sniper shotties. Thorn is annoying and a two shot. I've been using TLW lately in lieu of Thorn because of the insane TTK. I'm looking forward to using something else in my primary slot but as of now it's pointless.
