Day 1 with that grimoire? Bro, I played on day one, but I don't qualify myself as one of those players because I have such a low grimoire. I also didn't play much of vanilla destiny at all.

I was in the same boat. I recently ran a vog and got it. I don't know if me deciding to run a pistol(woc) the whole way did it, but that's when it dropped.

I know your pain and I've been there. I got mine last month. Beta player as well. It took many hm clears to get there and probably about 40+ Templars hm to do it. My only advice is to get superstitious. Go on YouTube and search any videos where the fate bringer drops from one to double. See if you can find out what they are wearing from shader, emblem, mark, cloak, bond etc. Duplicate that and try it. If nothing happens find another one and replicate what they are wearing. It finally dropped when I did this. I know it's crazy but so is doing the same thing over and over achieving the same results. I thought it was hopeless but it eventually dropped for me. I think will for you too. 3 characters for a couple of months straight every week.

Keep grinding my friend. It took me over fifty Templar runs to get my first one. I'm a day one player and I was just like you. Now I've gotten two in two runs.
