It's a con, but there's so many great games released later this year, I'm giving the overpriced taken king a miss

Look on Amazon etc - they are changing £46 not £40 we are getting ripped off so much.

4 RepliesI am from the UK and I preordered the vanilla game on Amazon Prime for £42 ($66) last September, and now the Price of The Taken King (standalone) is £46 ($73) to preorder on amazon prime, costing more than the actual base game. So let's look at the base game: - 20 story missions - 4/5 strikes - 4 planets with patrol areas - 4 enemy types - 1 raid - dozens of crucible maps - a massive amount of exotics and legendaries - and more Rumours for the taken king: - 12 story missions - 3-4 strikes - one planet with patrol - one new enemy type - a few crucible match types and crucible arenas - one raid - a few extra exotic armours and weapons This is 40% of the actual game at best, yet will cost me 10% more than the actual game But still this is just rumours and I'll just have to wait until they release more information on it. P.S money isn't an issue for me, but when a DLC cost 73 US dollars you cannot be throwing money at the screen, you wouldn't buy a pen for $15 dollars when you know the value of it, even if you have enough money to buy a dozen. There's a line between making a profit and conning customers and bungie needs to know that.

1 ReplyI saw an image of a reddit post on another site that displayed everything that came with HoW against the CE pack. There were twenty seven items on the HoW list vs three for this pack. Among those twenty seven items were nine exotic armours and three exotic weapons, in addition to a new assortment of weapons. Granted you don't just get these items, but it just goes to show how exorbitant the price of this pack is when those nine items (only three of which will be useful, and only one of those can be worn at a time) cost the same as twenty seven areas of new content (to include game modes).

1 ReplyIt isn't Bungie that handles the pricing, I don't think. It is Activision handling it.

5 RepliesEdited by UFSman: 6/28/2015 2:30:34 PMMoney making scam. Donate money if you want. I'll just complain, thank you. Newbies should if to pay the same price for each pack. Not be able to get the lengendry pack for 80 quid, when we Who are faithful destiny fans if to pay another 40 on top of the 80 we already paid for the game. No wonder people do split accounts for downloads so 2 people don't always pay full price anyway.

9 Replieshas anyone noticed that us here ps3 players are paying £40 for a 2gb dlc everyone else is getting 4gb dlc for their £40...just saying.
-
2 RepliesThe real problem in this its that $40 isnt a good price for itself... First we need a TTK with a price like $30, and therefore, we go for the price in other countries.

It's unfair to charge UK players $23 more for the same content. More sign the above link to get it heard!!
