9 RepliesOriginally posted by MongrelShadow14:
"Affordable." Which to you means free right? World of Warcraft sells individual mounts for 20-25$ League of legends sells champion skins for up to 20$ Hearth stone is selling a single character pallet for 10$ and up. If each item in the collectors package was sold Individually they would be around 2.25$ each. Which is in line with other individual things sold like call of duty weapon skins, emblems, player cards. So statistically the pack is on the dot with other standard cosmetic item sales. Value of items is not factual. It's up to said player. But typically cosmetic items are not bought based on value. You buy them because it looks cool and you want it! I could sit here and list things I've bought or things you could have bought for 20$ that would probably be worth less. But the post is long enough as is and I don't expect a reply anyway. Let alone a logical one. At the end if the day it's just cosmetic gear. Buy it or don't. Your game experience will not change. We will be playing the same ttk either way.
What do I care what you think? Get over yourself
-
I'll care when they start selling non-cosmetic items. Sure, the emblems give bonus exp but as long as I've been playing that is worthless to me. If I buy it, it will be for the emotes. Gonna wait to see what they look like first though.

I wouldnt give bungie another penny if they were starving in a ditch

2 RepliesIt was actually John Bridges who said that in those words. Tusser just had a similar notion.

Well I'm prepare cause I got money to throw everywhere
-
The fact that the blacksmith shader is being sold online for upwards of 70$ shows that people don't care who they buy it from or, to a certain extent, how much it cost.

2 RepliesThe thing about it is that I make enough money to not have to worry about the price. Approx 1 hour of work will earn me enough to buy this, and a full 8 hour day would allow me to buy approximately 2 collectors editions if I so choose
-
1 Reply9 items. 20/9 is = $2.22 Seems pretty fair to me. I don't understand people who have a problem with other people spending money on something they enjoy
-
It's their money they can do what they want with it.
-
A precedent what people are willing to spand on a shader has been set on ebay when people drop $150+ on the blacksmith
-
It is $20. That is one hour of work for me. If I can spend $60 on the game, $40 on the dlc and another $40 on ttk, I can spend $20 on more stupid shit
-
Lol these cosmetic items are as much as a destiny dlc, what a joke lmao

1 ReplyBut but... There's a hammer on the Titan mark .. I want it :(
