TTK RIP OFF!? C'MON Bungie
So why is it that a player who has put in close to 900hrs, taken down Crota, annihilated Skolas, and built 3 solid characters has to pay $80 in order to get new exotic class items and other items while...... A person who has NEVER played spend $80 and receives all dlc content as well as the fancy shaders and emblems?? That's like saying a BIG EFF YOU to us veterans. If we don't fork up $80 then noobs get to show off their fancy equipment while we(day one users) get to feel left behind? Pls bump and make Bungie aware that this is absurd and down right disheartening for real destiny fans.

It will be weeks before they get to a level to run the end game stuff. It will be weeks before they have enough marks to buy a full set of vanguard or crucible gear. Bungis is including the vanilla stuff so they can participate in all the events the game has to offer.

I bought a tv last year, a realy nice samsung for 1800 brand spanking new. Now its 899. Shit cheapens after a while. Get over it.

You guys don't get it do you? The way this is marketed is absolutely perfect the way it is. The goal after all is to make as much money as possible so tell me guardians.. Why would they lower the price of the dlc for you just because you've been playing longer? To entice you to buy it? YOU'RE GOING TO BUY IT ANYWAY and they know that. Grow up kids, Stop living in the fantasy world and understand the way the real world works.

While I agree with you wholeheartedly on the issue, you need to tone down the "noob" bashing. Our issue shouldn't be with our fellow new guardians, but with Bungievisions disgusting treatment of it's loyal year1 players.

Halo 4 GOTY. To get every piece of "exclusive" content at Launch a player would have to buy no less than 6 copies of the same game, one being the Console Bundle, one being the "Special Collector's Edition," and another having to be shipped internationally from New Zealand for a grand total of close to $800. Add the cost of map and armor pack DLC and we're getting closer to $900. I could only get the Limited edition with the initial Map Pass for $100. Then, one year later, after we've all invested our time and money into the game and MADE it a Game of the Year candidate, 343 releases the Halo 4 GOTY Edition...for $40...with al; of the post-launch AND pre-order exclusive content included. The veteran players were not only ignored, I was flat out BANNED from the Waypoint forums (if I"m patient the timer says I can come back in another 480 years, 10 months, and 17 days) for doing exactly what you are doing here, asking "What about us?" I guess Bungie is hoping we want the "Cayde-6 Edition" copy of Treasure Island, a couple stickers/postcards, and a plastic coin enough to make up for the fact that we ALREADY HAVE the game and the first two expansions (one of the major selling points hyped for the Legendary and Collector's Editions) and still pay the full $80 for redundant content.

This is what Bungie has never been good at, telling us what we're going to get in each DLC and neither Dark Below or House of Wolves were worth $20 each. Matchmaking is also another issue, just how much of Taken King is going to lock out players who have trouble trying to find groups or don't enough friends who play Destiny. But us veteran players will also be paying more than new players will if we just buy Taken King when you also add up the season pass that only just ended a few weeks ago. I had to force myself to join a clan for the 1st time since launch day because of how much content I'm locked out of and it still hasn't helped me. I still haven't done Prison of Elders other than lvl 28, only done CE a grand total of 4 times and only one of those times it was on hard. And I have a non resale copy of Destiny so I'm actually stuck with it.
