I'm pretty sure a majority wanted a raid, before the horde was announced there were so many posts about what the new raid boss would be. I hardly noticed anything about people asking for horde mode.
You speak sense with the rest though, there's too many muppets on these forums.

Well, the "Skolas's Revenge," (or something like that) challenge mode for POE will always be available, and features a main Fallen antagonist as the boss, so does that count as the raid boss?
