Ghorn problems
No matter how much effort I put in I can't get a gjallarhorn not by luck not by skill get every person around me gets one and it's costing me more then just another gun I had to forgo time with my friends all because Destiny won't give me one stupid gun I'm beginning to hate this game

1 ReplyI know how you feel. I literally have every other exotic weapon (including the PS exclusives), but no Gjallarhorn. I also can't get a Hunger to save my life. Its annoying not having one because of how often I have to convince people on destinylfg that I'm more than capable downing Crota on hard without one.

Honestly, don't think about it. It will (might) come, and if not, maybe they will have Xur sell it. Just do your best to maximize your chances, but it sounds like you do that already.

I know the feeling although it's with the thunder lord , I'm a day one player have had most weapons drop at 300 and 331 , purchased from Xur and upgraded with him also but no once have I had a thunder lord drop , I've given up on caring and it will eventually drop , it's the same for you , don't let it bother you and you will have it eventually , besides if all your buddies , fireteam or destiny teammates won't let you into Crota without one , you need to play with others , 3 gallies down him on hard so being down 1 , in your case , shouldn't make a difference

There's people with over 1000 hrs that have not got it so don't give up. Also is you will notice that alot of ppl cannot get a certain exotic that you may get all the time. My buddy got the last word 5 times and I could not get one. I've gotten 4 gjallarhorn and he hasn't gotten one. Some weapons are just not in your loot table but it makes you keep coming back to get it

I kept a tally of all the drops I wanted and when I stopped focusing on them I would get drops. I got Ghorn from legendary engram on day DLC dropped then got a second one on nightfall the following week and a third on Crota raid. I just got crux on Wednesday and now all I need from Crota is hunger, hunter cloak, and warlock helm that heals. Just keep playing but have fun. It will happen.

3 RepliesDude took me 700 hrs got it yesterday. I always wanted xur to sell it again. I could have bought it in week two but my dumb ass didn't. Keep pulling through all the shit when it drops its crazy how shocked you are. Amazing feeling xur shouldn't sell it to give people the satisfaction of seeing it drop. Either way keep pressing through it.

I got mine around 1600 hours in. Seen guys get it way quicker. Every character is made of code. Some have luckier drop rates than others. Some of my friends have gotten it 5-10 times

Some people will NEVER get this gun. Join the club. I have seen this drop for all of my friends and countless randoms. G-horn is the only exotic I don't have and I will never get it until he sells it. Which means we will never get it. Don't let it make you hate the game. It does 2k more than any other legendary rocket. It's just really cool.

Destiny did not make you forgo spending time with your friends; that was a personal choice. Also, try playing the game for the enjoyment of it. Don't play it trying to get one gun. The drop rate is low, and it will consume you. Just enjoy the game.
