"Is this snipe worth it right now?" "Should I really shotgun rush these players?" "Should I conserve ammo until the next crate?”
Is it just me or does this make you upset?
Why not just make a new game mode with the new update and let players decide what version they want to play.

2 Repliesbecause having too many game types splits the community. And balance is more important. This is common among bungie games. Halo had sniper Rifles and shotguns as pick up items that had limited ammo. This concept of limiting power weapons with low ttk 's isn't new.

I don't know what people are so upset about. Sounds like it's something crucible needs. It will make things more tactical. No more blinking, shot gunning douchenozzles anymore. On the downside it just means I'll die to thorn a lot more now.

2 RepliesNobody has played the updated version yet, but people are complaining about it. Why don't we go ahead and complain about HoW while we're at it? I think that primaries will be a welcomed addition to the crucible.

6 RepliesNo, because shotguns, snipers and fusion rifles aren't primary weapons. They are special weapons. Weapons that specialize in certain situations and shouldn't be used most often.

I'm all for it. I get tired of feeling like I have to use a shotgun as my main weapon all the time in crucible just to compete. Make those special weapons actually feel 'special'

Edited by NateOrb: 4/10/2015 6:30:14 AMlooking forward to everyone using thorns right now its all thorns and shotguns but after the update it will just be all thorns maybe a few universal remotes and invectives(but most people wont give up their precious thorn for that) probably at least 1 nlb/ice breaker in each game but theres usually at least one anyway edit i expect to see less gunslingers one of the best parts of that class is constant tripmines with the ability to cool down your grenade when you pick up ammo

3 RepliesThis makes me a little upset as someone who rolls with a sniper most of the time. I don't camp I'm an aggressive player and mostly use my primary. However, my feeling on this update since its been announced is that an update like this will effectively kill snipers and heavy machine guns. In team modes, one player can now easily put their entire team at even more a disadvantage. We'll see how it plays out and hopefully I'm wrong, but so far with these nerfs and patches all we've done is change around the pecking order of effective weapons. In my opinion that's all we're going to accomplish this time as well.

I like the sound of it. More strategically demanding gameplay. Sounds better then the twitch shooting it usually is.

Again, Guardians whine about the over abundance of these types of players Instead of you know, adapting. So! Bungie once again appealed to the whining and took away special ammo Adding another dynamic within the Crucible Deciding whether to use your shotgun ammo now... Later... Or never...

wont effect me much. and im glad its hurting all the people that use secondaries as primaries. and it will hopefully kill off the people using the last round snipers
