Hm, did this happen to you?
So I've noticed when talking to a couple of friends and even newbies to the world of destiny, that for some reason, their very first legendary armor piece is for a guardian class that they are not playing as. I for one, got a titan helm even though i was a warlock. Has this happened to you, just curious?

You should have made a third option for "got other class gear so I made one of that class", which is how I got all 3 of my characters.

I remember on September 9th when I hit 20, I got a legendary piece of gear from a blue engram (which I got from the infamous "Treasure Cave") and it turned into H_LD Starwinder chest plate which is for a hunter (and most people have never heard of)... I'm a titan My next piece of legendary gear was H_LD Starwinder boots

Well mine was an engram and ended up as ascendant energies bummer

1 ReplyWell, my first legendary was a Queen's Wrath mission reward, and I'm not sure if that even has a chance to drop for the wrong class.

So much legendary warlock armor. All I wanted was at least a piece for my hunter but no you have to grind your vanguard out and buy your armor

2 RepliesA perfect chest for the weapons I was using (Hand Cannon and Sniper)... buuuut it was for a Titan. I cannot STAND playing as a Titan. (Dropped from a blue engram)

1 ReplyThis is normal/expected... This is why your encouraged to roll one of each class...to enjoy the game to the fullest. Otherwise...shard it (dismantle it) and move on....just the nature of the game. Case and point: Bought 3 Chest engrams from xur...rolled 1 Warlock and 2 hunter pierces on a titan. :)
