Here is some info on that in case it got burried by the forums.
This was discovered by a reddit user during a bug and was later removed off the forum but later reposted on major news sites, so its hardly new info, but Christmas noobs weren't aware they were being lied to by Bungie, so I just wanted to remind them that House of Wolves DLC is already on your Destiny Disk, it just doesn't have any enemies.

For accuracy purpose, These areas do exist and people were able to glitch into them, but their entrances may have been patched already? Also, about the levels in the screenshots. I am assuming the levels are lower, because this was meant to be released with the full game, but now the mission and strike levels will be 10 levels higher, so 32 instead 22 for example. These are not fake by the way.
P.S. The entire Destiny the Game is 40 GB total. Just FYI. The Expansion is 3 missions, 1 raid, 1 or 2 strikes, and 4+ pvp maps. That will be a very small download comparatively. So please if you choose to post criticism, make it constructive.

The OP is a moron. First of all, what does it matter that the dlc is already ok the disc? It's not complete. When the dlc releases it will be a quick download so quit your stupid ranting.

Map content from each of the two dlcs was added to the disc so you wouldn't have to download a 20GB+ file for both of the dlcs, as if they did not add it with the disc you would have download the entirety of the Mars, Venus, Earth, reef and Moon maps all over again, both times. And tbh, why the -blam!- does it matter when they add it to the game anyway, if you bought it you'll get it anyway, if you didn't you won't get access to it. Having dlc ready months before release is an extremely common thing in game development, it takes years to make a game like destiny. Make of that what you will.

you're the noob if you think the entire dlc is "on the disc". dlc content is always preloaded and there are areas unknown that are incomplete with broken textures. this isnt a conspiracy its common practice. run along " noob"

There were rumors that people were banned for looting the Ghosts. but they are just rumors, I think. Nobody was actually banned that I know who did this the normal way. Unless you had a modified console, then I think those were banned And if you are trying to sneak into there now, I don't think that will work.

Oh GOD PLEASE NOT AGAIN!!! Please go find something heavy, tie it to your foot and then take an long walk preferably off something high and short with either water or sharp rocks at the bottom. Areas may be present, however they are incomplete and there for a myriad of reasons.
