Why can't I beat Crota?

2 RepliesWe had the same issue today. Tried for four hours. (Pathetic...I know). We got crota down to one hit and failed everytime. Sometimes you couldn't see any health and we still failed. Enrage, over soul, fail.

7 RepliesIf its ogres your struggling with, go under the boomer tower on the right, dont kill the boomers, jump up on a ledge, an ogre will spawn in there so have your rockets ready, if all 6 of you are firing he will go down very quickly, then look out the door and you will see the other, drop him and quickly get back up the stairs, if you have a titan with blessing of light it will help, and then you can kill crota with the next sword.

Whenever i have the sword the group im playing with either dosent take care or boomers or they cant take his shield down fast enough When im not swordbearer sword bearer dies before he gets to the rock or isnt fast enough or have good communication. (Oh and dont forget the glitches)

Beat him once and then tried 7 hours and couldnt get it. Bungie glitches you out during crota so you cant win. Half the time swordbearer never dies or the sword plain put disappears and its ridiculous how bungie creates problems when they fix cheeses and never fix their own mistakes

Find a big dick sword swinger (or female sword swinger with sufficient vaginal strength). Collect loot. Personally I don't like the Crota encounter and I don't know why Bungie would place so much responsibility in the hands of 1 person. I'm pretty sure they'll decrease its difficulty. If you want to clear Crota 3x a week with repeatable success: a) find a good clan or legit group of friends on your schedule, or b) learn2sword and pick'n'choose your team of randoms.

Based on team if you got communication and good sword man you are set. It not you just keep trying and you will get it

1 ReplyI beat him twice today in about a hour, and that's waiting for team members to get ready and for supers to charge. I honestly think it all really comes down to who wields the sword for your team. Our sword-bearer was pretty Epic - gave great instructions and was almost flawless. When we had a bad wipe - no one got frustrated, just gave it another go. Oh, and everyone else needs to keep their heads on a swivel and stay alive.

Because it's considerably harder. One mistake by your team is costly. And if your going center platform, the swordbearer going on his strolls to the left or right towers also screw ya over.

Well your PvP K/D shows your good, probably better than most these scrubs saying you suck. So it's your team probably, one mess up from any teammate and it's most likely a restart
