Alpha and Beta Testers
Who's been here since the beginning? Just curious to see how long people have been playing. Even though destiny hasn't been out that long.
Edit 1: Wow a lot of replies I forgot to mention snacks. Bungie is sponsoring the event so please enjoy. Also please share your favorite memory.

I've been playing since Alpha. My favorite moment of all is when my Fireteam and I beat the VoG gatekeeper, legit, in HM. I was the clutch rocketeer that saved our lives as all six of us went down in a blaze of glory. The shield bearer took his shield down and we start wailing on him. He was near death, so we were all being a little too bold. We're all out in the open firing... His fire begins to rain down on us; first a warlock, then a hunter followed by the shield bearer, a Titan... I do the only thing I can think of: use the rocket I was saving. I was saving it for a clutch moment. Little did I know the moment would be like this. As bombs of void damage are raining on us and my fellow guardians are falling around me, I stop mid-magazine on my Atheons Epilogue to swap out to my Admonisher. I let my last rocket sing; no ADS. Just a hip and a prayer. The last guardian and I fall... That moment was my longest moment in my Destiny career. Through the light of our ghosts floating vigilantly over our fallen bodies, we see the gatekeeper fall. Not one sound was uttered as we awaited our fate. Would we be doomed to fight him again? What was going to happen? We were all down in HM, but we had slain the gatekeeper, exchanging final blows. What now? We were decided the victor. And in unison we all exhaled in cheer. That, my fellow guardians, is legend.

Got my beta code and I waited till the download was finished. I stay up three days straight and played with my friends like crazy. Sepiks was our bitch by the time the beta was over. Then the game came out, we went on a three man rampage as we destroyed the enemies of the darkness. Then when our job was finished we started to drift apart from the game. I have to thank bungie though, they brought me closer to my friends and helped me make new ones.

1 ReplyDid the beta with one of each of my characters. Got them all to level 8. I changed my main character from a void warlock to a hunter after playing the beta though.
