Ok, can't take anymore of the bullshit some people say
New people to the game can farm the materials through Vog. You can't find a raid party? Go do patrol. No excuses.
If you want material in nightfall then the Radiant from Crota are acceptable.
Quit this bullshit winey little kids, most of us, who play from the beginning don't need that useless crap. If we want it we go Vog or patrol like normal people do.

We need more vault space for sure and some way of getting more radiant mats either by trade or more drops. I have around 500 ascendant shards and about 200 ascendant energies but no radiant mats since I have things waiting for them and they get used as soon as I get them.

It would be nice if The Dark Below Weekly Strikes would award Radiant Material instead of Ascendent. The only people playing the new strike are the people that need the new currency any way... other then that... everything else takes Ascendent...

I have somewhere in the range of around 650 ascendent shards but when they drop I don't bitch. Why? Assuming that the house of wolves vendor gear will take ascendent shards, as they did in the dark below, that's 252 shards to get a fully leveled set of vendor gear for 3 characters when House of wolves drops. I'll be ready. On top of that, the iron banner gear takes ascendent shards as well. I plan on acquiring a set for each character so there is another 252. I'd also expect the new VOG gear we've heard rumors about to take ascendent materials. Again, if this is the case I'll be ready.
