So them saying "increased drop rates from tiger strikes" dismisses your argument of getting more by not killing things. That's something that bungie have said. So no we cannot prove anything as RnG is random and the whole rewards system is RnG.. Everyone will have different results varying from the extreme good to the extreme bad. The only thing guaranteed is the marks and with a week to get them why not kill things to increase the odds of getting something extra while still getting the same rewards for completion..

last week i bought a exotic helmet engram from xur. at the time the [i]only[/i] exotic helmet i owned across all of my characters was a knucklehead radar. so when i turn in my engram to rahool he naturally gives me another knucklehead radar
