Jupiter and Saturn will never be playable because they are gas giants for those who never did science at school this means that they are made of gas and can't be walked on without sinking into the surface so yea everyone stop saying they will be planets at some point.
Edit: I'm trying to respond to everyone but it is getting harder the more people that respond so sorry if I don't respond
Edit 2: This is in no way implying that the MOONS of those planets won't be playable only that the planets themselves won't be
Edit 3: I'm getting sick of people saying TERRAFORM IT LIKE THEY DID WITH THE OTHER PLANETS you can't just make a gas giant solid and add an atmosphere and all of a sudden it's playable and nothing is wrong

Jupiter is are solar systems vacuum cleaner without it earth would be pelted with meteors that would wipe life of earth. Any city built on Jupiter would suffer the same fate. It the golden age the traveler might of been able to prevent this but since he's dormant I highly doubt he could now.

1 ReplyXur is from Jupiter. Did you read any of the back story? Terra forming etc?

Dude it's a game about robots, humans and some weird looking creatures fighting the "darkness". ANYTHINGS possible, shit I wouldn't be surprised if the sun ends up being on a dlc.
-
Space Magic. This is a game. Any planet is a possibility

Edited by VapinBot: 11/1/2014 11:36:08 PMLol. Only the atmosphere is gass. Nasa sent probes to both planets already. The surface of Jupiter is very much rock coated in metal ore. Hence the perpetual storm.

What about Mercury? I've been saying Pluto as a snow environment. Neptune..? Uranus. Or you can add more on earth New York, California, Washington D.C. so many possibilities.

5 RepliesEdited by TURBO GAMER: 11/1/2014 11:29:28 PMIf the traveler created artificial gravity for planets across the solar system, perhaps it could make some unexpected planets habitable? Only time will tell. The Golden Age was likely very much full of secrets and wonders.

1 ReplyThey have 100+ moons between the two of them. Some of those moons could be playable in the future.

These planets do have moons...

They mention space stations in the orbit along with the rings
