So rumor has it that the Vex Mythoclast is getting a nerf (No I don't have it.....yet) due to all the continuous crying.
My question is are you -blam!-ing serious?
The Community gets HANDED a TOP TIER weapon [SUROS Regime] and now that they can't get handed the Vex Mythoclast and it's actually an EARNED Exotic; people are crying like babies and want it nerfed. That's the most idiotic thing I've ever heard.
Crucible ISN'T the only part of this game and the Vex Mythoclast CAN be earned by everyone through vigorous means.
Shotguns are still OHKO'ing.
Fusion Rifles are still OHKO'ing
But everyone wants to target the Vex Mythoclast because they can't get it, because they don't have the patience or smarts to figure out how to beat the Raid Mode.

Want to know why the VMC is smacking you and making you cry like a baby in Crucible when your SUROS doesn't cut it anymore after you were just spanking some Level 4 with it?
In the Regular Crucible the Level Advantage is Disabled. Thus, only Impact and ROF matter. Your Gear's stats can't pad the Impact from the VMC and you get destroyed. Bottom Line.

My Rebuttal: Stop. Because Hand Cannons, Fusion Rifles, and Shotguns can dish out the same TTK that the Vex can in the given conditions. Learn to outstrafe the damn gun instead of trying to rush out just because you have the SUROS and think you're entitled to a kill in every gun fight. Sick of people wanting to be carried through stuff. I've gotten into gunfights with the VMC and actually felt the competitiveness of the game for once where I had to adapt, rather than trading every kill.

The SUROS and VMC are both EXOTIC and should have the advantage of such. They're to be EARNED guns, not distributed like Green and Blue Engrams.

2 RepliesI have stood toe to toe ago at the VMC with my GC3. And I have won enough of this encounters. The VMC. In the right hands, it is devastating weapon. With that being said, I don't think the VMC needs a nerf. I think people just need to use tactics.

Shot guns one shot kill because they're.....shot guns? I mean, if you get shot in the chest at point blank range with a shotty, should you not die? If you see someone with a shot gun, it's quite simply to back up and shoot them at the same time, it's not hard. I do it 24/7. Fusion rifles? Shraft, learn it, so the whole burst doesn't hit you. Again, it's not that hard. You having the Vex or not, I'm still going to wreck your shit in PvP but my point is, it makes bad players look remotely good at the game. Stop acting as if the PvE on Destiny is just so God-like that once you get a certain weapon, you earned the hell out of it and it deserves to stay overpowered. Get it while the drop rate is 0.1% and then we'll talk about how you earned it. FYI, my Shadow Price shits on Suros. I've never once had a single problem with that gun, ever. I have like three of them that I don't use. One from Xur and the others from nightfall. I'll stick with my Shadow Price, shot gun and Gjallahorn. Dueces

Are u joking, the vex' is no doubt extremely overpowered. I hope Destiny would be a competetive skilled based game But no. They can Get the VMC' so easy. And whats reallly funny is that people think they earned it, when Its so easy to Get. Nerf the damn VMC or Get it BANNED from PvP! Right now the PvP is broken.

VMC is fine, fix the atheon fight/share saving so people who have the gun actually earned it.

honestly. i've played against people with the vex and i didn't see what the big deal was. yeah 2-3 shots would kill me...but my thorn kills in that amount of time too. besides the guy using it was terribad. i mean i outshot him with a six shooter several times. good gun doesn't make a bad player good. just saying. i have no problems with VMC in crucible.

Honestly I couldn't care less about any weapon being overpowering. If some guy wants to use a weapon like that go for it. I've mopped the floor with 29 and 30s using the red death and I've been mopped every once and a while too. Sure it can be annoying at the time but hey that's the whole point of PvP to see who can out whit their enemy first. BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY at that.

I don't propose the VMC get banned but it needs some balancing. Yes the TTK is similar to a hand cannon, shotgun, or fusion rifle but it has it throughout an overpowering range. Close range to sniper distances its TTK is extremely short everywhere.

I switch between my 5 exotics equally but prefer my Surous and Thunderlord. I have the Truth, Thorn, and Ice Breaker(before it was cool, as a Titan I rarely snipe...) I have faced the Vex and come out on top, strafe and shoot simple as that... It takes skill to win and any player with or without the Vex can be a winner... I -blam!-in walk into cruc with the starter weapon and still wreck shit. Sadly the people bitching and moaning probably just don't enjoy PvP at all cause they suck at it...

I have the VMC. It is far from accurate. It is not all that powerful. It us more of a support gun. I get more assists with it then i have with any other gun. Surros beats me at range. Shotguns beat me at cloepse quarters. This gun is really only a mid range weapon. Not op at all

I think its fine, I fought a guy with it last night in Iron banner he was 28 with it i was 26 on my alt warlock. Everytime i seen him i would use pocket infinite and we would kill each other. Not once did are fights not end in a tie. So clearly there are weapons/ skill that can equal or counter the VMC. (Not saying pocket infinite takes skill but other weapons/startegies probably work just as well if not better)

I just played a guy called " LATVIANBOII " who has this weapon, was a game of rumble, I thought, great no chance of winning here. Lost the first match by 100 points so thought wasn't to bad, next match I won :D. was on my level 14 at the time, and ye I know levels make no diff but your weapons do (mine aint great being 14 lol) and he messages me with hate? saying Im s**t etc cause im on a 14 and think im soooo good, then challenged me to do the VoG on hard on my level 14 if I think im so good (had to name and shame him ) My point is, tho this gun might be good, it doesn't make you a PVP god. Nerf or don't nerf, doesn't bother me, as long as IF they do nerf it, they don't do it to the point its now a pointless weapon.

im a lone wolf and keep to myself for the most part. i dont really know which flavor of the month gun does what lol. i have however read some stuff on the vex gun. ive also died quite a few times by it in pvp haha. i see many complaining how powerful it is. now this is just MY opinion and im not knocking anyone elses opinion...i think it should be as powerful as ive witnessed. i believe its a reward for raid hard mode...if so then i have no problem with it being overpowered lol. im not able to raid since none of my friends game so i dont feel my good guns should really have an advantage over someone elses gun who got the gun by beating raid on hard. i mean the raid is the biggest part of the endgame. i think most who have it should totally be able to outsmoke me in pvp. theres been a couple i fought with the vex that i eventually outsmarted and ended up killing them a few times so its all good. the ones who were actually good and used it on me...props to u...i tried but came up short haha. its all good. again...this is just my opinion and i respect everyone elses opinion. i just hope maybe bungie can get it mostly right and make the majority happy with everything.

If I get TLW I'll be dumping VMC quicker than you can say Suros. I've played against and with a VMC and can honestly say it isn't OP at all. Skill --> Weapons. If this gets nerfed I'll be disappointed.

1 ReplyExactly how I feel. If you wanna nerf my Vex you damn well be nerfing shotguns and other fusion rifles. Stop crying and beat the raid. It took me three weeks of raiding in three characters before I got anything decent and I missed out on the suros when xur had it. I'm not crying everytime I die on pvp to a suros. Why? Because my shadow price is comparable what it lacks in rof it makes up for in impact and stability. Learn to strafe, jump and play better in general. Both the suros and the vmc are earned weapons. Suros you had to save and spend your earned strafe coins and the vmc requires you having enough skill to beat the VoG on hard. Keep crying though I love the entertainment.
