"he was furious about this intrusion into his private life" So it is possible for all those saying no way it's an Easter egg, that it is in fact something bungie added after beta tester broke in as a joke. I'm not saying it is, but it would make sense.

If you go "out of bounds" so to speak , it says "turn back" or something close and a timer . If people found it on the Beta they are sure to know . They should've put a warning along the lines of "ATTENTION ! You are currently in an action that will BAN you . G T F OUT ." Or something like that . All caps usually makes you read it . It's very imposing . Good luck though bro ...

They're getting banned for accessing finished, on-disc content that has been locked behind a paywall for $30 DLC packs. All of this in attempt to hide their sins. Trying to sell content that is on-disc. Wallowing in shame, aren't we, Bungie?

3 RepliesSeems no one wants to read the faqs or my responses in other posts so here let me put this up at the top. : I just stumbled upon this page and am now worried I might be banned. Do I have anything to worry about? Nope! Bungie will not punish you for just playing the game. Fun is encouraged in many forms; if it’s fun for you to dance on someone’s head in the tower, spam grenades in Crucible matches, or just climb a cliff and sit for hours enjoying the gorgeous view, go for it! It’s your choice on how to have the most fun in Destiny. If you’re merely playing the game, then you aren’t doing anything wrong. If you find an exploit, we want to know about it in the #Help forums. Don’t be scared; we won’t be upset if you found a way to make something weird happen. Let us know about it, so we can fix it to ensure we give everybody the best experience possible!

1 ReplyUmmm halo 2. Invisible walls meant find a way around this and see what all is out there. In fact every game I play I tend to find ways to get past these barriers. The exploration itself isn't what got him banned. Him picking up a dead ghost in an area he wasn't supposed to be in flagged his account as having been there. Point: if you're going to explore places you're not supposed to be in, be smart about it and don't pick up ANYTHING! "Leave no trace"

Either way, a ban for a glitch, seems kinda wrong. Its not like he acquired something game changing, its a ghost shell, not God mode.
