Don't fanboy on me. I don't care. I like and have watched the LotR trilogy ad nauseum, but have yet to see the Hobbit. I am merely aware that it was and IS a prequel to the trilogy/movies. Not written after (I don't think, know or care), but as movies go the whole 'let's go back to the/a beginning' aspect has been over done. Conspiracy theory? Doesn't even fit here. They did it for the money because they knew it would draw all the LotR fans back to the theaters. Plain and simple.

If you don't care, don't tell me what to do. Well that's understandable that its overdone but lotr actually is logical to go back to the beginning as if they were to do another movie, that's the best place to start. Of course they want money for it! They have jobs/ need to make a living too! But I don't think this is going to be more franchised garbage like the marvel movies. Now back to the shadow with you morgul scum!!!!
