Almost prestiged for the 4th time all of my Space Marine 2 classes tho. And recently playing Kingdom Come 2. And HellDivers 2. Fun games.

This shouldn't be the fix. Eventually yes we would like that final Darkness subclass. But let's fix the foundation before we move more furniture into the house.

We are way past that now . I think with everything past Bungie have done to thier players and staff has left a sour taste in a lot of people’s mouth . Sad to see it all go down like this but that’s the way it goes . Most have let go of Destiny and a very small amount hang on for dear life . People’s expectations are so low they will accept anything now and haw done for a while .

Edit... because as long as prismatic exists a new subclass is extremely unrealistic without a complete overhaul of several subclasses rather than just one

bungie needs a destiny 3 to fix this and they just released marathon. the only logical conclusion is theyre either making destiny 3 (theyre not) or bungie abondoned destiny 2

Destiny is toast, Bungies interest and ambition lies in new IPs.

As someone else said, the fact that there are subclasses with only 1 super (Aka darkness subclasses) is kinda lame and if Destiny actually gets major care in the future, that should be first and foremost with class changes

Whatever they introduced now, wouldn't bring many back (their addiction is broken) & the ones who did wouldn't stick around because A) Portal is absolutely cheeks & bad on almost every level B) The content is old & stale, running arms dealer for the x3000th tine with a red subclass, for mint retrograde 2.0 or guns & materials you don't want or need is really really fatiguing. They had a golden goose, they killed it, & there's no way out. A new game is the only option & that fails on so many levels. Sony won't fund a 5-7 year build on Seattle expenses for a tired franchise & uncreative devs now on a 9-5 mentality, & live service is on the down. They think pantheon will save the game, but people already complaining about getting fatebringer for the 7th time, & it's again, old content. Oh & new portal modifiers, can't wait, the last 37 modifiers they've added have been terrible. Unfortunately the game is cooked. It appears so is the studio

Bringing back all content (AND I MEAN ALL CONTENT) so that people can experience the game to its fullest extent with implementing each expansion and seasonal power increase in a casual easy way for simply playing until you get to the newest one All cutscenes. All cut raids. All mods. All guns and their sources. And maybe. MAYBE..... destiny will be back. But it's kind of too late for even that ngl. What I think we need is a destiny classic with all content from 1 and 2 combined into one game. Optimized like helldiver's did with cutting their games storage space. But that's impossible.
