Haven't played d2 in a few months and decided to hop on to check some stuff, only for steam to crash a few seconds after hitting launch and then getting a pop up giving me error code marmot. was able to get destiny 2 to launch by quickly re opening steam before the pop up would show but after 2-3 minutes i would get a battleeye error with the plum code. Ive verified files on steam and done a fresh install, to no avail. I had another issue with battleye a few months ago when i tried to play the marathon beta, which i could not get to launch properly, and one of the fixes i attempted then was to delete the battleeye files and re-install them, so that may have something to do with it. anyone have any ideas?

Check for virus. Do you overclock anything in your PC? Test your RAM.

Hello there, Thank you for reaching out to us. We understand you were experiencing error code Marmot, and are now encountering error code Plum. We can imagine how this may have caused concern. Plum is an indicator that BattlEye has detected a problem with your computer that may be in violation of Bungie’s Terms of Service. If you haven't yet done so, you may wish to ensure you have the latest Windows update before launching Destiny 2.
