I'm unable to login due to parental controls. I'm over 30yrs and have not ever set up parental controls as I do not have children.

Hi there, Destiny 2 itself doesn’t have its own parental controls – that message is coming either from your platform account settings or from how your age is stored on Bungie’s side. First, double‑check the platform side: Xbox: Settings → Account → Privacy & online safety → Xbox privacy. Pick the Adult defaults profile or make sure options like “You can join multiplayer games” are set to Allow, then fully restart the console. PlayStation: Settings → Family and Parental Controls → make sure your account is not set up as a child/sub‑account, and that online multiplayer/communication are allowed. If everything looks correct there and you still get a parental‑controls / age‑gate message even though you’re an adult, Bungie may have incorrect age data on your Bungie account. In that case you’ll need to submit a data‑privacy correction request so they can update it: Go to this page and scroll to the bottom: https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/360049024632-Contact-Form-Data-Privacy-Requests Sign in and choose “Correct My Data”. Explain that you’re over 18 and being blocked by parental controls, and be ready to provide ID so they can verify your age. If you can’t stay signed in to the Help site, you can instead email privacyrequests@bungie.com with the same info. Bungie support can’t directly change your console’s parental settings, so it has to be fixed either in your platform account or via that Correct My Data request.
