Old forum post deleted?
I have made several posts on the forums over the years and when I was trying to look up some old fan made exotic ideas I posted I can't find any of the forum posts. I even did the "Site: Bungie " search and used key words but I can't find anything other then a few random comments and a story post. Does Bungie remove post with low engagement?

For example: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/206815369?sort=0&page=0 If using a search engine's site function, you probably want to use the full thing "site:Bungie.net" (make sure there's no space). With that being said, they did recently disable the Groups function, and so any posts that were made and tagged specifically within those groups won't be visible.
