The lull and follow through ( events and the silence that follows)

So, something I've noticed time and time again with destiny is that the week after an in game event is usually pretty hollow feeling. Boring. Now, no one is expecting the game to keep up a pace where it jumps from one event to another or for it maintain the same level of whimsy, loot, or activities that events bring, but there needs to be something filling that void. Id suggest having surges designated for these times. Ones that increase drop rates of weapons(not just that one time bonus drop), Give access to rare loot, increase order rewards, have double surge weeks with multiple surges active, boost tier of dungeon rewards,Etc. Also, the schedule for arms week and iron banner is abysmal. These are events that should be easy to slot in on a more frequent rotation and most of these events should be plug and play by this point. Not sure why it seems like it takes a medium update and extensive dev time to add preexisting events and a handful of weapons. But it feels like poor planning. Could also be an indicator that the tiger engine is beyond outdated.

  • You would think that after all these years it wouldn't need a post like this. This is the sort of thing that should be happening every time there is a lull in stuff to do It just shows how detached Bungle are from D2 now having a forum post to let them know that the game is Boring beyond Indolence is ridiculous.
