Da Rules, Consequences of killing gods

The Nine are rules as claimed by D2 Narrative Director, but what rules? Each Celestial body warps spacetime. The Nine are the rules that govern each world. Time, space, matter, gravity, magnetism are all controlled by the Nine. When III died, Earth's rules were thrown into chaos. Eggs hatching as soon as they are put on the fire, hallways becoming longer, matter transposing into other matter, rocks floating in midair, pastic cups becoming magnets. The same logic can be applied to the Lord of Every Nothing. The Winnower is a rule. Oryx made a deal with the Winnower and it created a new rule, the mantle of Taken King. Toland was angry at us for not taking the mantle because that was a rule. The must be a Taken King. There must be a strongest one. When Witness died, there was no one left who take the mantle and Winnower was angry at us for breaking one its rules, but it came to accept it. Without a Taken King the rules that governed the Taken and those spaces were thrown into chaos. From that chaos the Lord of Everything Nothing was born. There are consequences to killing gods. We invited chaos and must now reestablish order. The Guardian must become Taken King.
