Probably just toddlers and basement-dwelling man-babies. Part of the issue is any real feedback is only going to be heard on Bungie's Twitter/X, so this place becomes an empty dump full of whiners, SSDD.

Edited by Guardian, Archon Of Light: 5/12/2025 4:20:05 PMIf it was actually fun I would agree with you Tip toeing around a large map with only 6 players at a snails pace, shooting a 1 RPH(RoundPerHour) canon, is not my idea of fun If they wanted a "Fun Goofy Mode" , SRL was right there, and is alot more fun than 6 clunky vehicles slogging around a map I appreciate them trying new things, but I think we can safely mark this experiment has a failure, Bungie should vault it and let's never speak of it ever again!!!!!

6 RepliesI think it’s great… should replace trials and give us chances to play as other enemies
-
You would not believe how many cry babies I have called out on here… grown men acting like complete babies it’s funny oh it’s so funny
-
Trying stuff is ok, but releasing this rubbish is not ok. It's not fun and is a joke they think it's content lol
-
Hi pot, have you talked to kettle yet? People have every right to voice their opinions, however they see fit. You don't like it either, stay off the internet or go find yourself an echo chamber, you sycophant.

4 RepliesThis community is angry because this game could be amazing and instead bungie consistently push out mediocre half baked content that is full of bugs. The community deserves better than what’s being given. I don’t mind the occasional bug, it happens, but this company never play tests anything before releasing it. This game should be a well polished product but it’s falling apart. Stop defending this company, they need to do better. They’ve been riding the player base for too long.

5 RepliesThe destiny 2 community 100% complains way too much. However, it's hard not to complain. Destiny 2 has some major problems, bugs, server issues, and balance problems. Plus core parts of d2 haven't been updated or worked on in years which the d2 community has begged bungie to do. Then bungie spends a lot if time and effort making budget titanfall, a mode no one asked for. They could have used the development time on far more important things. Now lets say we had to get a fun silly mode. Space battles? The mode people have actually asked for since D1.

It's a feedback forum, designed for players to give their feedback. This is like walking into a church and being upset by seeing bibles.

Edited by Mikhail: 5/11/2025 11:04:53 AMBecause people can't simply choose not to play something that they don't like and move on, or play another game if you don't like D2 I personally not big of a pve fan, so as soon as I hit 2020, I stopped playing Nether and Court of Blades, to me these game modes are boring af Heavy metal? I find it boring, I play this gamemode to hit rank 15 and get sparrow and maybe get that title on the way, but as soon as I'm not feeling like playing another game of Heavy metal I went to Quickplay or Comp yesterday Sometimes I feel like running around Cosmodrome and finish Banshee bounties There's so much stuff to do in D2 compare to what we had in 1st and even Forsaken year People just like to complain about everything I think if I like the game I'm gonna enjoy what I can and good thing about D2 you can play pve, pvp, hell you can even play gambit They even added explorer dungeon, so you can run around by yourself Next expansion is gonna have single mode Strike but people will still be complaining Don't worry about them man! And read less forums! Just have fun and do what you want and like in this game I like using Red Tape scout in pvp and I care less when somebody gets mad after I kill them across the map because I don't play their hand cannon invis rdm Redrix meta etc Edit: So I ended up getting Heavy Metal title when I hit rank 15 and I kinda started enjoying this game mode so I decided to play 10 more games or so to make title gilded To me the only downside is one map but I'm sure Bungie will fix it in the future Was having fun both with brig and tank, had some awesome random teammates (One time I even somehow got stuck with tank at rock and couldn't do anything to move and my teammate saw it drove to me and pushed me to save me from being an easy target ) Also it's super hilarious when somehow tanks fly super high up in the skies I think this game mode is a good test mode and Bungie will figure something out in the future to make it better and funnier Rank 15 sparrow is awesome, it's not even a sparrow it's more like a cabal interceptor Yeah, it's only 140 speed but man it was so much fun to drive this sparrow and shoot dregs during Public event on EDZ when other guardians were using guns Simple Destiny things like this make me wanna come back and play this game GG to everyone, it's just a game, nobody cares about your KD and titles and raid reports, remember to have fun guys and girls!

When the team in 1 vehicle has a distinct advantage over the other, the movement is clunky, and a lot of the time you have enemies spawning behind you or ganging up on you as you spawn, yeah I'm going to criticize it.
-
1 ReplyI do believe many complain about the clunky tanks or clunky Brigs But what most are upset about is that its a waste of time on the event. Seeing as they ask 200 coins for basic materials like shards and alloys (which can be gotten from tome of want in 1/20th of the time you need to spend on heavy metal). For 1 shard I have to play 9 days straight of dailies and weeklies. I can't claim the prisms either on the event card. Telling me I am full (funny, I dumped it all into golfballs and I am now at 57 prisms) And this took the event of trials of osiris with the fan favorite inquisitor adept returning.

Honestly, it's these players that have eroded destiny pvp. There is a reason they didn't address it for years. They are toxic. They don't want any change or variance to pvp. We can't even have consistent mayham as a playlist because of them. The games pvp isn't fun anymore. It's been ground down by "competitive balance." Which is not fun to the majority.

1 Replysadly, a toddler community will always cry
-
1 ReplyIMO most have never been punched in the face. Many have never experienced real adversity. Many have never been humbled. I bet most here believe their worst day is being t-bagged in gambit and crucible constantly to the point of rage quitting and jumping on these forums to complain about it. At the end of the day, it’s just a video game…. Everyone taps out more often than one thinks…. Everyone gets knocked out every once in awhile…. Everyone gets pummeled by the big wave every once in a while….
-
2 RepliesThey'll cry about anything really. The forums do not represent the broader community in any way
-
3 RepliesThis ^ yes it's a gamemode for fun so why is everyone so up their own @$$ about it. I can't stand this community sometimes it's like it breathes, it bleeds and it breeds toxicity for everything to the point of redundancy.

Well said 🍻🫡

Free loot? Free loot is just giving it out for little to no effort. (And not spending cash on it either) It's great when devs try new things but why would they make it take so long to earn the sparrow when performance matters for progress and only one team has an advantage?? Im fairly certain this is just another way to increase "engagement", plain and simple. Quality of the event doesn't seem important - or the balance would have been fixed somehow, no?
-
The community is just salty no matter what. The irony of people complaining for trials are the same people that cry about trials 🤣. The same people that cry about heavy metal and losing are the same people who cry about control and players not playing the objective.
-
3 RepliesThere could be a whole 200-page book written on what's wrong. I fully agree with you on your point that they just essentially seem to complain no matter what. I saw a post a while ago about how bungie never does anything new and then immediately after they do something new there's tons of complaints about how those same people don't like it or why isn't it like everything else.
