Bungie can you pls make these quest steps make more sense

Do I need to Google everything?
*well, since this is trending for whatever reason.. allow me to explain more.
I think the main issue I had with this is that there is a lot of text about all the different materials, rituals, uhh..spiritual whatever, tablets... It's nice to have something to do, but I felt like this was overly articulated without any real knowledge of why I would want to do all that.
I figured out what it was all about, without looking it up. Yes, it wasn't that difficult. But it was over articulated.
Perhaps also, I've been playing this game since 2014 and I kinda have this thing where I just want to go do the stuff and not read things, etc. There have been a lot of ups and downs with this game, and it's jading.
Anyway. The Tome of Want, Wants no More. 🍻

I can understand Raids, Dungeons, maybe even Exotic Quests to an extent, functioning like this. But casual seasonal content? You're out of your mind dumping people into something like that. Especially since most people play content like that intending to turn their brain off for a bit.

Hive secrets discovered- shriekers won’t spawn. Tried 10 different ways to get it to spawn in. I picked up all the worms again and re did both of the first two encounters. Running back and forth with no explanation and no information about another bungo BUG.

lol i just ignore content if it requires google or YouTube to figure out where to go then I've got better games to play destiny doesn't care about wasting my time for zero dopamine, so I don't care about ignoring content that is literally intended to waste my time make better and more enjoyable content, destiny is far from my only entertainment choice bungie, trying to turn destiny into a job instead of entertainment

YouTube this... walkthrough that.... calculate the DPS Meta formula of the kill distances on Friday at 3pm during an eclipse with a 40$ skin to get a .1 range boost on shotguns...modern gaming sucks...what happened to just playing games for fun and a bit of interesting storytelling and depending on the game a few explosions here and there....I don't get it older games are so much more interesting and fun

2 RepliesIn a word? "Yes" you need to look it up Its part of the design, release obscure drivel you'd probably never notice organically and then let youtubers have all the info for "how to" clicks. Its one of the things that makes me smile, watching "the elite" claim it was easy to figure out when most of them couldn't burn toast without a youtube guide. They aren't going to change this late in so if you want whatever piece of crap is on offer just watch a guide. Its lazy but far cheaper than designing a coherent questline.

I think that it’s this Episode’s version of the tonic system. Though tonics flopped hard, I think this content was too far down the pipeline to go back and rework it.

4 RepliesWith how the story is being handled and a lack of voiceover I can see the disconnect I have a friend who has bad eyesight and is struggling hard and with no archive for story or other relevant tutorials for the season at easy access....if your not fast to read or lack the attention to keep up or lack an ability to read in the first place...even going to the bathroom after a mission can cause you to miss something important and you wouldn't know.....feels bad Man

2 RepliesThere's going to be some idiot who tries to tell you it's because they want you to watch content creators. Just remember you can always open the quest up and launch it and it'll put you in the area you need to be and typically mark the objective or path.
