Iron Banner Tribute is terrible
This mod is a pure Slog Feast and Its horrible. No skill involved by picking up motes off the ground or camping deposit areas. The time is way to long. Most games come down to the time limit.
We should not be forced to play it in IB. You should have control as well like before
Bungie I know you see the analytics of when we could choose before. I am fairly certain most feel the same way.

Mode is terrible and 98% of the community hates it Modes other than control are good. This isn’t.

I made a post about this when it first came out. It's terrible for 6v6 in iron banner. As someone who loves IB and gilds it every season, it ruins the experience for me.

It’s not a bad mode. I just don’t think it should be forced upon people to play. It’d be nice if they had two options of game modes.

Just get rid of game mode entirely since no one plays the objective they just want kills and don’t bank any motes multiple games I was the only one banking. Just keep iron banner clash and control since those are the easiest to understand for most players apparently

2 RepliesI'm actually really good at this mode and I still agree it shouldn't be the Iron Banner mode. It does require a much different approach and build philosophy, I tend to score about 30-40 points a match. But its by surviving and running vs. fighting. Legitimately the second I stopped trying to engage or fight the enemy my win total skyrocketed. Instead you play the game like tag meets hide and seek. Not exactly the best for something like Iron Banner which is supposed to be this competitive PvP mode for the baddest of all time lore wise. "Become an Iron Lo... Tag you're it! Now run home"

13 RepliesSpeak for yourself. I personally love the more objective based modes for Iron Banner. People forget that Iron Banner used to be nothing BUT control, and, quite rightly, complained that it was getting stale. Now we got variety, people still complain. You want to go back to controlfest so badly, go play regular Control.
