After the recent announcements regarding build crafting has Destiny 2 finally been killed off on top of all the other issues?

Edited by TheShadow: 11/29/2023 4:45:20 PMDestiny? The concept of it died years ago. This is just a mess slapped together called "Destiny" which is run by a business that doesn't have the slightest clue on WTH they are doing, that doesn't play their own game. It's why they don't know what they are doing, and they relies on fake people that used this game to make a living. You can't kill something that has been dead for years.

1 ReplyNot yet but they are going to lose money and players over the next six months. We should just enjoy the game while it is still here.

1 ReplyEdited by Mirage7853: 11/28/2023 9:54:24 AMTbh I think soon after final shape releases bungie will start dying, and marathon will finish them off. Most of the veterans that are still here just want to finish what they started

Jokes on us. Technically, we are Guardians embracing the concept of "What is dead may never die"
-
For many, yes. But there’s still a hardcore of players that will stay with D2 no matter what. Whether it’s enough to sustain it is something else.
-
for the peoplo from outside completely yes, but the veterans and a few not yet...
-
No, but they’re really giving killing it a solid effort.
-
Huh. Not yet? Then there's still hope. Just barely.
-
Not yet, but it sure feels like they’re trying to lately.
-
They lost me when they nerfed my 1 hit kill Titan shoulder charge in PVP. It was just never the same.
-
Not quite but they are getting there. The DNR is being signed and hospice care is about to be in effect.

Just gonna wait and see.

6 RepliesTHE GAME IS NOT DEAD!!! Why do people say that?!?! The COMMUNITY is dying, the game itself is in a fine spot, the only thing that would kill it is replayablity and is struggling with that but it's not dying I'm tired of the community saying Destiny 2 is dead at the end of every other season, it's not, your just bored of it

Eventually nothing has saved Destiny 2 since Beyond Light. Trials/Competitive have unleashed the xim players. Iron Banner and Crucible never got cool ships, sparrows, or even ghosts like in Trials. Because Trials is for elite players only. Strikes, Nightfalls, and Grandmasters are just getting old along with decent weapons. Seasons since Beyond Light, Destiny 2 started to get terrible especially Season of Plunder due to story line. I was expecting even Competitive and Trials to get better which never did. Iron Banner/Crucible never got any ships, sparrows, or even ghosts. Crafting such as grinding out alloys has been a pain to farm it. Overall, Bungie had changes to make this game great nevertheless each seasons just went down hill. I hope that Final Shape and the episodes can bring D2 back to the glory days.

4 Replies🤣 These posts are getting so lazy .

What constitutes death, now? I mean, EverQuest is still available albeit a shadow of what it was.

Anyone answering "yes" or "definitely" 100% has a favorite flavor window.

Nope!
-
Nah not even close in any way. Too many people still playing and another year of content. You’re a year and half early with the asking.

Try asking again in twenty four hours.

2 RepliesPeople still playing so it's very much alive
-
It’s moribund

How did they kill off so much if everyone is saying we got nothing? We got nothing then they took it all away!
