legend avalon is a joke
the hydra encounter/node collection feels like fighting the battle of helms deep but with the stupid task of collect item in x amount of time to be just that bit more annoying, would love to just join a boss checkpoint but no, the game refuses to let you join anyone in progress for this dumb mission. would not recommend this lol

The key for that fight, solo or with a group is positioning and loadout. During mote collection I use the outer ring, to bait the fanatics in... gather the motes. Blinding nades, dbl void resist, ER to be extra safe. During boss dps, I just camp the ledge/platform where the boss was. Hope it helps, I carried a 1768 through Legend for the 1st Cat last week... there's alot of adds but there's methods for success.
