Ah. It’s the tattoo question all over again.
So I personally will probably never get a tattoo—you may be wondering where this is coming from/going; hang with me, I am a professional. It is 100% becaus tattoos are permanent and you can’t easily change them. I never can figure out what I’d like to commit to my skin for the rest of my life. I’m too thoughtful about things like that to make a choice. I also love the look of unmarked skin. I think humans are the most beautiful thing in all of creation and I don’t see why we should change them.
That being said if you want tattoos, more power to you, this is a purely personal thing and I won’t hold it against you.
This brings us to the name change.
Obviously you would think that I would change it right back to HoTh, but no, I might want to try something new, what would it be? I have no clue. Since the change is permanent I want to choose something I wouldn’t mind being stuck with.
However, I love my current user name. SuperJohn has been a childhood nickname since before I could remember. Same with John John the pilots son, this is just a mixture of those two names into something new. I’ve had this username since I was like 6-8 and I see no need to change it.
Thus I am stuck on the desire for change and satisfaction with where I am at.
Which brings me to my final topic.
After 5 consecutive years at Christian chicken shack, it might be time for me to move on.
I love my job, but I’m ready for new horizons, I also am graduating college soon and want to travel before my flight benefits expire. Can’t do that while working full time in a critical leadership role.
My long term ambitions are with the business, and I’ve tendered my resignation, effective December 24, but I don’t want to leave. I love my job and I love the people I work with.
Change is in the wind, I’m almost grown and I’m stuck evaluating my life…
Climbed a mountain and turned around, I’m just rambling and have the whole world in front of me.

Shamrock is my identity outside of my personal life, everyone I game with and interact with on the internet knows me by it. Do I like it? Yeah, it’s pretty cool I guess, I’ve thought up of better names, buts it’s not my identity. No reason to fix that which isn’t broken I say.

Unless you’re gianluca vacchi or dwayne johnson tats almost always look trashy Like I guess if it’s really simple or small that’s an exception But it’s the best when these super young people get a tat for their bf/gf where it’s like their initials surrounded by a heart and fast forward 3 years they’re broken up and single with kids

1 ReplyI'm not a fan of tattoos for basically the same reasons you mentioned. All around not worth it for me, but I won't tell anyone else how to live their life. Just don't come to me for tattoo opinions, I am 100% the wrong guy for that.

2 RepliesThere is no reason to get one if you do not have the motivation to do so. I see far too many getting the because it is an "in" thing to do. Unless of course you are member of a tribe where tattoos are part of your culture.

4 RepliesI'll probably regret it later but it made me giggle

3 RepliesIf I were to get a tattoo I’d get the Outsider’s Mark on the back of my hand. It’s pretty nifty, and I see very few situations where I’d ever regret it. I definit wouldn’t ever get anything else, though. Tattoos being anywhere but the back (and maybe palm) of someone’s hand looks weird imo.
