Does anyone actually care about the Anniversary dlc?
How long can 1 dungeon be fun for really? 5-6 runs at the most?
What are you going to do with Gally? Run the same stuff you're running now, only with Gally? How long will that be fun for?
What are you going to farm Eyesluna and Longbow for? They are PvP weapons. So, are you going to grind for them and play pvp? Will they make pvp better? The peer to peer, cross play lag, terrible lobby balancing and matchmaking. What will these 2 guns do exactly?
I mean, who in the right mind is actually excited about this? Nothing is going to change.

Dungeons and the secret missions are my favorite replayable content hands down. I'm looking forward to a new dungeon and hoping its rad. I'm also fervently hoping we can get the whisper and outbreak missions back, because I freakin love running those. I'd also like more of those....

I care. It gives me some new content to play for a couple of months on top of the normal winter festival. Plus its GJALLY! Its beyond legend when it comes to Destiny. Will it have all its D1 glory? Oh hell no and if it does it will most likely be nerfed when Witch Queen is released. But still ----- GJALLY, I'm an Iron Lord and I deserve my Iron weapons!

This is the same cycle this game has done for years. Nerf abilities buff gunplay. One gun will rule them all and then guns get nerfed and abilities are buffed.

I'm looking forward to running more 3 man content with my lil fireteam. Dungeons offer a similar experience to D1 raids where they're not overly mechanical for lesser skilled PvE players and for those with vision disabilities like legal blindness in the case of my best friend. Destiny 2 really shines in its Dungeon content. I prefer them over D2 raids any day. Raids just aren't worth the time anymore because of the insanely heavy RNG they rely on for replayability.

I considered buying it briefly but Bungie have disappointed me for not acknowledging the problems you outlined in your third paragraph. Sunsetting, overtuned Stasis and the saturation of one hit kill weapons in PvP have made me angry enough to not care about the future of Destiny 2. A terrible track record of releasing changes to the game that are broken simply to gather data is unforgiveable. I have no faith in Bungie as a developer.

1 ReplyIt’s more destiny which is largely what people want. A new event and dungeon is nice, price is stupid and sets a bad president but if the dungeon is stupendous I’m not broken over it I’d rather have more exotic pulses than eyasluna and longbow tho

8 RepliesIt's optional content, who cares. If you enjoy destiny, buy it. If you don't, don't, and move on. It's more than "just 1 dungeon" anyway, but y'all love to use it as a talking point, so it makes it sound like bungie is ripping us off.

I have two xboxes, if I buy it could my other half play it on her account in my other machine or do I have to buy it twice? I had to buy the last expansion twice but I’m damned if I’m doing I again.

Everything can be used in all areas of the game. I enjoy running raids I have everything & really don't need to run them but I do because that content is my favorite thing to do in the game. Maybe some people feel that way about the dungeons we have now or this dungeon we are going to get. Ultimately you can find a way to make every activity fun. Make a list of challenges for yourself and/or your clanmates. Come up with odd loadouts that normally wouldn't be used. I think we should wait until the content drops before the criticism of the content begins.

I’m looking forward to a new dungeon personally, figuring out how to run them solo has been the best part of D2 for me. As for Ghally, I started playing during D1 TDB so for me to get it back after all these yrs is nice. It’ll be even nicer if it’s the pre nerf ghally from Yr 1 and not the neutered version we got in ROI, but I’m not holding my breath lol Also I’m looking forward to the Thorn armour set simply because it looks cool ( For a change) reminds me of D1 also. I think there’ll be more then enough to keep me busy until Witch Queen and if not I’ll simply play something else until then.
