Considering the super high prices on some of the items on eververse it would be nice if the amount of bright dust obtained from bounties would be increased. for example when we complete the 8 bounties from zavala, drifter and shaxx instead of just 120 give us 300. and also considering bright dust bounties cost 3k glimmer why do they only give you 10 BD? why not make it 50 BD? come on bungie don't be greedy. Not everyone has money to spend on silver.
-
And everything shouldn’t be 4 times more in bright dust.

2 RepliesGot around 20k right now. Don't know why veteran players have a problem with this...

5 RepliesNo, we need less focus on the eververse store and be able to EARN loot IN GAME. Cosmetics are a big deal and some kind of "prestige" in most mmo's. Destiny only sells good looking stuff for money, their whole intention is for you to spend real money, thats why the bright dust economy has been nerfed into the ground. That will never change, cause all Bungie cares about is player numbers and sales. Player satisfaction is all the way at the bottom. This is not a true f2p game. Bungie needs to start realizing that. We pay good money annualy for dlc. A full blown in-game shop that seems to get the most attention by far is something that belongs into a true f2p game with FREE updates. Has anyone here spent a dime on a Fortnite update or "dlc"? That's all entirely FREE. That's what justifies a huge in-game store. What Bungie does with their game is just purely disgusting and goes far beyond what EA did in the past. That whole shitstorm which hit EA should have hit Bungie ages ago but Bungie lovers don't see that, they just keep on buying everything and keep the posiitve feedback flowing.
-
Bungie should make it so that we get bright dust for dismantling Ships, Sparrows, Etc. again. Almost everything we get from Eververse engrams are duplicates, this way they wouldn't be a COMPLETE waste.
-
23 RepliesI only have the 4k from the bonus, and I have to stretch that out from now to the end of February? We need more.
-
Everything in Eververse costs 3 times the amount it should. $15 per character for a set of armor ornaments is absolutely insane. That's $5 more than a yearly expansion.
-
you can have mine. not using it.

Edited by Demon_XXVII: 11/7/2021 5:48:06 AMKilling 75 opponents in Momentum (seasonal challenges) To be rewarded with 75 BrightDust Really wasn’t worth the effort or the terrible crossplay lag fest And then 10 BrightDust from an additional bounty from Gambit etc Yet charge 300 for a shader Insulting
-
3250 bright dust is insane as far as charging. And to put a price on something for 600 bright dust, knowing it's 100 above the 500 you can buy...... That's just scummy. But working as intended. The pricing is this way to intice us to buy silver.
-
11 RepliesMaybe be more selective on what you buy? They probably want you to buy silver, that's why they changed the amount of dust we earn. I'm sitting on 30k dust. Recently spent 10k on FOTL stuff.
-
Of course they won't do that. They want you to pay for silver.
-
I wish. But Bungie has essentially gone “all of nothing,” on free to play sales, and it turns out it’s working unfortunately.
-
1 ReplyI don't understand this opinion, I've got 70k bright dust and it's constantly going up, there's very rarely anything worth buying for dust and when there is, I easily buy it without really denting my stash. What are you guys spending it on? What is it you want to buy but can't afford?
-
While I understand feeling miffed at the low bright dust amount from bounties, I think the bd economy is quite good at the moment with the seasonal challenges. This might be just me, but I end up with enough bright dust to buy the seasonal eververse set on the my titan + a handful of cool weapon ornaments with a ton to spare.
-
I think the problem is we need more cosmetics to be earnable in game. Bring back strike specific armor. That was some of the coolest gear in all of destiny. I like that the new dungeon has a cool armor set. Just sucks we have to pay 25$ to get access for it. I wish we could just buy the dungeon and Gjallarhorn separately from the anniversary cosmetics. I’m never gonna wear a hoodie on my hunter that’s such a waste of money.

Edited by TheShadow: 11/6/2021 2:53:24 PMNo, we don't. The high prices are to keep you on the wheel, and boy will you spin the hell out of it for "BD". What shouldn't have happened is Bungie placing the cosmetics in this game that use to be acquired through the activities in the shop in the hope players will buy silver. (Bungie deliberately destroyed any incentive the cosmetics use to have by handing them out like candy.) The BD system was one of the dumbest things added to this game. A "looter shooter" should be about creating an incentive to run activities to acquire the items, not use a shop to make a profit. There is no sense of value in anything when it is handed out like candy and now when they create certain items for events, etc...? Correction, most really don't give a -blam!- about them anymore and that's because they are a dime a dozen.
-
What are you a communist?
-
Nah, less -blam!- in the eververse is what is needes.
-
2 RepliesBonus bounties give bright dust and those can be picked up anytime.
-
1 ReplyDude, they want you to buy silver.
-
7 RepliesOne thing no one seems to realize is that when bungie nerfed the bright dust earned from complaining the weekly bounty challenge for vendors and add BD to seasonal challenges; we actually lost out on like 1000-3000 BD per season. They claimed they weren't reducing the BD there were just splitting it amongst other sources. However not every challenge awards BD and most only award 75 BD. On top of that if you dont complete 75 then you lose out on 4k more.
-
Good luck with that.
-
Edited by Twin Inferno: 11/6/2021 8:49:22 PMI agree but seasonal challenges are another alternative which I don’t do, same with season pass but that does cost silver. I have fallen into the system -blam!-!
-
Bright dust will always be limited since it’s the game’s free currency. The currency you want is Silver.
-
it will never happen sadly, there is a reason why the dropped the amount of bright dust you get to the ground this is so that there is always a certain amount you can get, and to make it grindy as hell, so that people cant just farm it in a short period of time, and get what they want they want you to use real money to buy silver
