I feel like you shouldn't have to buy the deluxe edition of a DLC just to get weapons from previous seasons (such as DMT and Hawkmoon). After a season ends it should be available for everyone who owns the main DLC (so if you own BL but not SoTH you could still get Hawkmoon). I really feel like it isn't fair for people to be pretty much blocked out of a weapon if they didn't buy the deluxe edition or a season.

Edited by IainG10: 7/26/2021 10:45:15 PMAs soon as that Season ends, the content should go into the kiosk; using FOMO as a content driver is scummy, and makes sure that players who take a break never return. I'm not saying everyone who misses content should get that content immediately; I missed most of the raids that have been removed, and I'm still getting Spoils for Tarrabah (having used my first set for Anarchy). I'm fine with this. What I'm not fine with is that my Whisper of the Worm, 4th Horseman and Outbreak Perfected have empty catalyst slots that I cannot fill because I took a break from the game.

That would seem fair, but then what would defeat the point of having the season pass if everyone who didn’t pay just had to wait one season to access the seasonal exotics. But I think Bungie should just let players have the access to buy past seasons over buying the Beyond Light deluxe edition if they missed passed seasons, instead of having to wait until those seasonal exotics to be put in the Lost Light exotic kiosk thing. FOMO is still a pretty annoying tactic still used by Bungie.

I love how your 'previous season weapon issue' is that you A) didn't buy the season and therefore B) didn't get that season's weapon. 😂😂 amazing

I SHOWED UP TODAY. WHERE’S MY PARTICIPATION AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE IN PARTICIPATING IN THIS DIALOG THREAD? IM TRIGGERED..

Sorry to burst your bubble but that's how dlc works you have to pay for the content in order to play it or get the gear from it. I will say any loot in the season pass from said seasons should still be obtainable though even after the season has finished since you are paying for both the seasonal content and the season passes exotic and its ornaments.

1 ReplyDemanding something for free? Pay season pass they don't charge for part seasons. Idea that something should be free just because its outdated... so childish.

Lol! It’ll be in monument of lost lights

Should have paid $10 for that season so you don't have to pay $70 for the Deluxe Edition.
-
Hate to say it, but if you missed the content, then you missed out. It may come back at a later date, but there are hundreds of weapons…many of which are no longer accessible, especially for those who came back or played after the fact. They can’t do what you asked without doing it for everyone for everything and that’s not a good business model

You need the season pass because the content for those seasons is still in the game. Why should Bungie give you the same access as people who paid the 10 bucks or bought the Deluxe Edition? Once the content gets removed, probably when Witch Queen rolls around, then you'll probably be able to buy them from the kiosk in the tower owning just Beyond Light.

Say what? Anybody could get NTtE the next season regardless of the edition purchased (or not purchased GP FTW)

I mean… if you don’t pay for the season, should you get that season’s content? They’ll probably introduce it to the general game activities eventually, or at least put it in the kiosk. You just have to wait a little longer than others who paid for it.

You’ll be able to get it, I’m assuming, once witch queen drops?
